Careful paws weaved brambles in the camp wall back into their appropriate places. Someone must have disturbed them at some point, probably through carelessness and recklessness. Irritation flashed through him at the thought; some cats really were too dumb to be in the wild.

Satisfied with his work, he leaned back and scanned the wall for any other irregularities. Better to catch them now versus later when an enemy patrol was crashing through a weak point.

Leafpaw had lost count of how many times she'd sat here by the apprentice's den, watching everyone go about their day. Watching as other apprentices were taken out to do training, or go on patrols. Some part of that had left her feeling bitter with her mentor like they were failing her. She had trusted them, the first adult that she threw her trust in and they were throwing it into the dirt. The only thing they had taught her was hunting but after that nothing, she was back here like she was a kit again. Sky blue eyes caught sight of someone messing with the camp walls, looked like they were fixing them. That was a first sight to see, she thought everyone forgot that things could deteriorate like that. That gave her an idea and a bit of confidence to see about her curiosities. Standing up the tailless apprentice made her way over to the unnamed warrior, guess she would have to seek out her own training then. "Uh, I forgot your name but I have a request!" she now was standing somewhat behind the tom. She didn't care if he would take offense to her tone, that was just how she spoke with others.

Drizzlenight turned his head to look behind him as someone spoke. An apprentice - Leafpaw he believed - with some sort of request. He set his jaw in mild irritation at her not knowing his name. Did 'paws not bother to learn the names of the warriors in the Clan anymore?

Still, at least she hadn't called him by the wrong name like Dogpaw had. That was an improvement. So, he decided to let this one go. "What can I do for you?"
