"Well golly, of course!" Shepherd nearly shouted, whiskers twitching. They had started purring again, at a time they hadn't exactly logged into memory. Winter was the only cat they'd seen in quite a bit, and Shepherd was simply thrilled to be having such an angel staying with them. "You can stay with me for as long as you need."

With a smile, the clumsy cat turned to head back towards the lake. It took until sunset, but after a lot of tripping on rocks, getting caught in bushes, and stopping once for a potty break, the two cats made it to a twoleg cabin that was just barely concealed by the woodland at the lakeside. Shepherd looked back at Winter, and purred, "Well, here we are! I found this cabin 'round seven moons ago, and I've been here ever since," they said.

it had taken a great deal of time to get to this cats home. It was also quite amusing how azul had never learned this cats name either, how peculiar. Once the forest opened up winter was left shocked at the pretty sight before him. How gorgeous and wonderful it was..so…so..so..perfect?! He turned a wide smiling face towards shepherd it’s beautiful! they chirped in a slightly slurred voice.

Shepherd flicked their tail, smiling. "Daww, it's nothin' special..." they purred, leading Winter through a broken window of the cabin. "Watch yer step!"

the pretty dark gray and silver cat nodded enthusiastically as he tottered after his companion on short stubby legs. Being completely dead wasn’t that bad in a sense..he had gotten to meet this gorgeous cat named shepherd. After a few moments winter felt themselves yawn out of exhaustion. I’m tired what about you?

Shepherd watched Winter, head tilted slightly to the side. "Well, now that yer mentioning it... I could use a nap," they said thoughtfully, padding towards a nest they'd created out of feathers and moss. Of course, there was twoleg furniture to sleep on, but they preferred to fend for themself. "I can catch some prey, if you wanna stay here and sleep," Shepherd suggested.
