Lottie's Yard || [OPEN]

The young molly crept through the small black flap that led out into her housefolks' garden. One paw in front of the other, tail held high, chin up. Just like Mother taught her. Lottie breathed in, taking in the strong scent of lavender, roses, spices, and more. She'd just eaten, and was rather tired - and her nice bed inside just wouldn't do. For a proper nap, she required a warm sunspot outside, possibly in the soft grass (or clovers, if she was lucky!) by the flowers.

Lottie purred, slowly lowering her soft body into the bright green grass, which almost seemed to dance in the wind. She settled down, paws kneading the grass. Oh, how she would love to dig her claws into the warm, dark soil. But as a small kit, her housefolk had declawed her, leaving her defenseless. Mother had been declawed too, but she hadn't ever seemed to mind.

It's for the best, the young ragdoll reminded herself, closing her eyes.

The quiet mewling roused Lottie from her nap. She blinked, ears swiveling, eyes flickering around to catch it, and there it was again. The young molly stood up, eyes wide as she wandered over to the bush.

"Hello?" she meowed softly, using a paw to part the leaves and branches.

Lottie gasped at the sight of the kit, reaching into the bush and picking it up by the scruff of the neck. She pulled the kit out of the bush, setting it on the ground as gently as possible.

Blue heard of soft mewling coming from a yard. He decided to go investigate his blue point pelt ruffled him a slight breeze. He looked over the fence. He climbed on and stopped short. There was a beautiful she cat gently picking up a defenseless little kitten. He looked at the she cat and decided to go help with the little kitten and try to get closer with a she cat.
