As the sun sets to the other side

Sunsetpaw was born as Sunsetkit along with Sunrisekit. Their parents were Winterpelt and Falcontail. Winterpelt it kind and understanding. Falcontail, whoever, couldn’t care less about his kits. As kits, Sunsetkit and Sunrisekit would play for hours everyday until it’s time to go to bed. It was all rainbows and happiness and cheerfulness until someday Sunrisekit wanted to go se what the territory was like. He wanted to bring his Sister-at-the-time but they didn’t want to since they were worried that their parents are going to worry while looking for them so it was off the Sunrisekit so adventure on his own! Things didn’t stay good though, as Sunrisekit was torn apart by a predator. It was Falcontail who found him and it was also Falcontail that delivered the news to the two. Winterpelt was not happy about it. The two had an argument about it that night. Sunsetkit was scared of what’s going to happen. They were lonely. They had no one to talk to. Fotunately, they were able to sleep, albeit sulking for about an hour straight and had a dream where they met Sunrisekit again!

Their brother encouraged them on moving on and forgetting about the incident. He wanted Sunsetkit to just-…be happy. The two talked for what seemed like hours before Sunsetkit woke up. To their shock, Winterpelt wasn’t there with them anymore, but they were left in an empty nest; all by themselves. Falcontail told them that Winterpelt will come back soon. And then can you guessed what happened? He left a few days after. Which..left Sunsetkit thinking they were cursed and no one wanted to be with them.

They stayed quiet and sad for some time before finally thinking of opening up to others again and..well..as much as they want to say that they’re no longer sad…losing your brother then your mother THEN your father…it’s just…not the best situation to be in. But it helped and even if slowly, Sunsetkit was able to live normally again but the memories still lived on in their head. Memories that they’re never going to experience.
But loneliness wasn’t the only impact; after they started to socialize more withh others, they held a feeling that they want to help as much as possible and try to be the best cat they can. Helping others, giving them a hand, encouraging, motivating? Those are the things they want to do. They don’t want to make others felt what they felt anymore.

They have yet to notice how little impact they have in trying to help

3 moons old and they’ve made a friend (rival) named Winterkit! Which reminded them a bit about their mother Winterpelt…but they convinced themselves that they shouldn’t think anout the past anymore. Now, Beansprout is now apparently the leader. At this point, they’ve grown a bit and has a few friends. Their life was getting better slowly. Beansprout hosted an event for kits so they can be apprentices earlier than normal. Not something you’d usually see but Sunsetkit took the chance and became a ‘paw at the next meeting, earlier than most.
