Nighthound was already in the clearing when the call for a meeting was given, simply moving closer to the Shadowledge to wait for whatever news Dawnstar would give.

He hadn't been doing much when the meeting was called, though, as Deerpaw left the apprentice's den, they suspected they might be a little bit late considering the group of cats already gathered here. Did they just come back from the foxes? Dawnstar was cleaning her fur of blood and a few other cats looked to be in a similarly disheveled state, so he assumed that was probably the case. Well, whatever this meeting would be about, Deerpaw wanted to be in the loop, so they chose to sit somewhat on the edge of the meeting, a position that would allow them an escape route back to their nest if they needed it.

Seeing as a few kits had left the nursery to join the meeting, Nightshiver decided to do the same. Sitting by the nursery's entrance, tail wrapping around her paws, she watched on as the dark leader called for a meeting.

Meanwhile, Applechatter had hoped to escape ShadowClan's camp and go for a hunt. Unfortunately, their plans were foiled when the shadow queen called for a clan meeting at the worst time possible. Even so, they held their head high and sat with the crowd to listen, subtly wondering if their sibling was nearby.

Broad, scarred shoulders glinted in light that filtered through the trees as Mousepaw made his way to the medicine cat's den. He wasn't in pain, nor did he think he was in direct need of a visit to his less than esteemed grandfather, but there was no denying the blood that soaked through his pelt, his shoulder and chest tinged a dark red as it dried off. At least he did not seem to be bleeding anymore. Sloppy as he might have been to let himself be bitten, the older apprentice thought it didn't go too bad considering he went solo against that now dead fox, heh heh. Still, he didn't want to worry his auntie unnecessarily while she was pregnant, so off he went like a good little ShadowClanner.

The leader's voice echoing through the clearing, Mousepaw's rounded ears perked up, a grin instantly lighting his face as it seemed he was granted an excuse to not rush towards Elmshadow just yet. Close as he was to the healer's den, however, he finished his walk, sitting down close besides the brooding tom, offering only a sideways glance in greeting before turning his attention back to the leader. Much as he loathed the tom for everything he had done - or failed to do - to his family, the monochrome colored apprentice was not about to be openly rude to him when he was going to him for treatment. Or for simply sitting besides himself. Somewhere along the line, the younger tom had grown past such outbursts, preferring to simply sit in cold deference as long as there was no need for anything to be said. There was plenty of tension between ShadowClan and ThunderClan at the moment. No need to cause more of it amongst clanmates if it could be avoided.

"We've taken care of the fox problem. For those of you warriors who had the luxury of sitting home on your assess, I would suggest offering your thanks to those who accompanied me to rid the foxes. Whether it's offering extra prey or cleaning out their bedding, I would suggest doing something considering they just risked their tails doing the duty so little few of you stepped up to." Dawnstar snarled. Between the number of warriors that ShadowClan had, her patrols should have been much larger. She should not have been stuck with two other cats out there. Those who had asked or told to stay home to take care of the camp were one thing.

She did not understand how some of these kittypets called themselves warriors with how lazy they were. The few warriors and apprentices that came with her were obviously among the bravest. Even if it was a tad bit slow, they had done what she wanted without a fuss.

"There are around six or so fox bodies I believe, I want to be brought back. I need a patrol preferably not any of my injured warriors, to fetch them. The bodies can be set outside of camp. They'll need to skin, the fur can be used as bedding for the dens. The bodies disposed of in the outskirts." It's getting colder the cats would appreciate the extra warmth soon enough. She wasn't sure if fox could be eaten, never tried it before, and would prefer not to with only one medicine cat to look after the clan's health.

Dawnstar eyes roamed around until they landed on a gray apprentice. "You promised me a pelt."She meowed to Mousepaw with an inquisitive glint in her eyes. It seemed that in just a short time he had grown quite a bit. He and Sharppaw had done well in the battle for being an apprentice.

Oh, that's right. It had nearly slipped her mind as she relished in the ShadowClan's accomplishment. "Dogpaw, Mousepaw. Larkfire told me you both passed your assessments with her. Let's hold your warrior ceremonies." She flickered her tail calling the pair up to the base of the Shadowledge.

"I, Dawnstar, leader of ShadowClan, call upon my warrior ancestors to look down on these apprentices. They've trained hard to understand our ways and I commend them to you as warriors in their turn. Mousepaw and Dogpaw do you swear to protect and serve ShadowClan even at the cost of your life?" The leader began once the two had settled blow her.

Skybranch, Spiderkit and Littlekit were happy that there was going to be two new warriors. Fllamekit didn't care. Eaglekit was grumpy. She wanted to be a warrior but she would have to wait FOREVER!

Deerpaw shifted uncomfortable where he sat, the intensity and anger of his leader's reprimand wasn't the best feeling in the world, in fact it was rather terrifying. If they were any better, had any more training, then perhaps Deer would've felt obligated to go along with the raid on the foxes, but they had no training in battle or fighting, and violence was scary to them, so perhaps he'd still remain in Dawnstar's bad graces if he did have training and didn't go.

At least two new warriors were being made now. Vaguely, Deerpaw wondered what their warrior ceremony would be like, what would their name be? Would they ever actually get to that point?

One With The Warren & Kitty Softpaws Purrk Active

Bouncing up and down on the balls of her feet, Starrypaw was barely paying attention to anyone at all. Really, she wasn't even paying attention to Bigbird, even while staring fully at the brown tabby. She was just hopping up and down, ears deaf to the world, and staring up at Dawnstar Bigbird with a happy, mindless grin.

Until her idol called Mousepaw and Dogpaw over, that was. Her eyes grew wide first with surprise, and then glee. "PIP! MOSSY! YOU'RE GOING TO BE WARRIORS?!?!" She yelled, stopping her bouncing to swivel around and search for the two tom-cat's in question. She didn't even know if anyone was listening to her obnoxiously loud chatter. "Hooray!!!"

Cloverkit - The Scaredy-Cat

Foxes... Cloverkit had forgotten about the foxes... or rather he hadn't heard about them to begin with. He must have spaced out when they were mentioned. That was becoming another bad habit of his; spacing out whenever something stressful became too much for him. It terrified him the first time it happened. Well, at least after it happened.

Clover-green eyes dared to look up at Dawnstar as she insisted the warriors who joined her be thanked for their bravery. Luckily, no one died, though it unnerved Cloverkit to hear that she wanted more warriors to go back to the dead foxes just for a couple of pelts. He felt himself growing worried again, so he closed his eyes and took deep, even breaths. Letting his shoulders fall and rise with his chest. He'd gotten better at nipping his little thought spirals in the bud before they grew into- uh... thought tornadoes... or something like that.

Counting down from ten, he opened his eyes and began looking for a familiar face in the crowd. Maybe being close to someone he knew would help him stay calm. As he scanned the faces of his clanmates finally spotted someone familiar; Wrenny!

Cloverkit smiled. She seemed really excited that- uh... Pip and... Mossy? Were becoming warriors. He didn't know who Pip was, but he assumed that Mossy must be Mousepaw. Wrenny had so many strange nicknames for everyone it was hard for the timid tabby to keep up with them all.

Cloverkit at least knew who Mousepaw was though. How could he forget that nice, gray-pelted apprentice he met at the herb event. If he remembered correctly, he was also a friend of Wrenny; and any friend of Wrenny's was... probably not an enemy. The gangly kitten-- though he was getting a bit too old to be called one-- walked over to his monochrome friend.

"Heh- Hi Wrenny... I um... haven't se-seen you in a while," he mewed a bit too timidly to someone who was meant to be his friend. But who could blame him? He hadn't had time to hang out with her after she started training. Though she seemed to be the same as when they met, he still hoped their little time-lapse away from each other hadn't changed anything. Oh stars, what if she forgot who he even was?

@Rose (Is it alright if Cloverkit is slightly taller than/or maybe the same height as Starrypaw despite being so young? I want him to be a tall gangly bean~)
