The tiny tabby purred. For some reason, he knew that Lionpaw was telling the truth. Everything would be okay...

A large yawn escaped his mouth. He was still bleeding, but not as heavy. Blood still covered his left face, but he couldn't feel anything. It was numb. As Plumelder reached the shore, he pawed at Lionbestie's golden fur. "Squea?" he asked, jumping to try and reached his back. He was tired, and practicly asleep on his paws!

Somehow, Sparkkit's clinginess seemed to calm him down. Beanstar breathed in and out, his rapid pulse slowly coming back down to normal levels. The kit seemed to keep him grounded and in the moment, somehow. Some way. He hadn't the faintest clue. But he was grateful. With a soft purr, he tore his gaze away from the chaos of the flood and licked the kid a few times on the head for comfort, if she would let him. "It's gonna be okay," He spoke softly, pressing his nose against her forehead. "We're all gonna be okay. You're nice and safe." @jupiter

Fogfall @Caspian and Silverpaw @cinnamon soon joined hm at the water's edge, and he greeted the pair with relief. He instinctively pressed his head into the other cats shoulder and head respectively, thanking the Stars above that they were alright. The fewer the casualties, the better. Next came Squirrelkit @Starry :P, guided by one of his Lionhearts, Firelight @Beamheart. With a grateful nod and a dip of his head, Beanstar let out a "Thank you" which sounded more like a croak than anything. Next, he found Woodpaw @Luna-Flight at the edge of camp. "Woodpaw! Here!" He called sharply, feeling fear creeping back into his bones. What was the apprentice doing? Nevermind, surely he would follow. Ashpaw @Peach was also there -- oh, Stars, she didn't look good. Beanstar was glad Silverpaw (at least, he thought it was SIlverpaw) had managed to drag her out.

Larkwing @FrostyGalaxy came next, carrying a scrap of fur that seemed to be an apprentice -- an unmoving, unspeaking, unresponsive one. But an apprentice at that. He sighed a breath of relief, finally relaxing as much as he could as Moonkit @FruitBat and Dapplewing @Omari came out unscathed. Or, well, he didn't know that. At the very least, they were alive. Charredkit @Silk_Cradle_Ruler was there, and Minkkit @Rose... Damnit! Standing up on shaky legs, Beanstar made sure no kits were clinging to him as he leapt into the water one final time. His muscles screamed as he fought the current and his own exhaustion, but managed to grab the floating kit. After a brief struggle to get back to dry(ish) land, Beanstar gently dropped Minkkit on the ground for a moment before addressing every cat left.

"Let's go," He sighed, sounding and feeling defeated as he gently tried to scoop Minkkit up and offering his back for any tired kits to ride on. The walk to Rugged Range was... a long one, but Beanstar needed to stay strong. He had to. For RiverClan.
