#1: An apprentice was to blame for ShadowClan's near death.

when ShadowClan became seriously ill, it was all the fault of a young apprentice who brought prey from the dump, unaware that those prey were infected.
his identity is not revealed, but the only apprentices at that time were Oakfur or Brownpaw, so it must have been one of the two.

#2 Brightheart hurt Firestar when she was an apprentice.

in a training session (when Firestar was Fireheart), Brightheart unsheathed her claws and scratched Firestar, despite the fact that claws are not allowed in training sessions.



#3 Brackenfur wanted to mentor Snowkit

The death of Snowkit, the deaf pup from Thunder Clan, was sad for everyone. and it's even more painful if you remember how Brackenfur wanted to be his mentor. really would have trained the pup well, in my opinion

Their mothers Willowpelt (Sorreltail's mom) and Frostfur (Brackenfur's mom) both took Whitestorm as a mate

#2 Mistystar's deputy was her only living kit

Yes, Reedwhisker was Mistystar's only living kit, all her other ones died at young ages; Primrosepaw, Pikekit, Troutkit

#3 Erin Hunter - don't remember which one - said that Rowanstar only became leader because she felt bad for messing up his gender so many times in the books before that

Yeah, its true, that is literally it, there was like no other reason.

I thought Rowan was given Tawny as his mate because of the misgendering? I didn't know his leadership had anything to do with his misgendering at all-

Yeah, it was odd to me how he had been chosen as deputy when he had hardly been mentioned. And yeah, her mate was Blackclaw.
