Last round. Blue eyes gleamed from the shadows, shifting over every speck of ShadowClan territory. Black rosetted fur slipped out from the hiding place it had been occupying, taking the form of Mirehound. The shadow warrior lifted her tail for the last time.

Tail sweeping low behind her, Mirehound materialized from the shadows with interest gleaming in her blue eyes. Their sharp intent swept over those who had made it to the end of her little obstacle course, the edges of her lips turned up in a subtle smile. And look - there was even a kit among them. "You've all done well. Take pride in being ShadowClan, one with the night. Never forget what you are. The rest of the forest will not. Wear it like armor, and it can never be used to hurt you."

With that, she flicked her tail in dismissal before turning and slinking back into the shadows of the territory. Once out of sight the shadow warrior broke off into a sprint. A nice run in the night to clear her mind before approaching Dawnstar with the results of her little event.

When he made it to the end, Cougarpaw smiled. That’d be sure to impresss Dawnstar. He was the only apprentice to make it to the end, though some kit did too

Moonkit yowled happily and leaped out of her muddy hideout. "I won, I won! I knew I would do it!" She mewed happily with a high pitched voice. Finally, she had something to be proud of herself of!
"Ew, this is all yucky.." Her long fur was plastered in muddy strands. She felt filthy, but at least she was a winner.

The black calico shook the mud off her pelt with vigorous, rapid movements. Drops of mud splashed all around her, but fortunately no one was close enough to get hit and claw her ears off.
"Oh, I can't wait to tell Pinepaw and Nightshiver!" And Wildpaw had better hear it as well. She thought with a snicker on her face.

As Mirehound sprinted away, Moonpaw hurried and followed after. "Oh crap, if I don't hurry everyone will leave me here in the middle of the forest! Not even some time to celebrate...
But she wasn't upset. All on the contrary. Today, she had demonstrated that Shadowclan blood run in her veins. Today, she had proof to show everyone in her clan and to hold in her memory. She was smart. She was stealthy.
And one day, I'll be the strongest as well.

Her amber eyes glimmered in the moonlit night.
The black calico had reached camp with a pleased sneer on her face.
