Closed Discord Information?

Hello! I am new so I apologize if this is stated somewhere. When I was first registering and editing my profile, part of the information that I could add was a Discord. I was unsure if this was needed or not so I went ahead and created one anyways. Is there a function for them on the site?

You don't need a Discord account for the forum! However we do have a chat box on the forum pages which connects to a Discord server, where many of us chat! @astrid.
