It appeared Flamepaw didn't need much training- any at all, to be quite fair. It would be an easy job for him. Besides, if Flamepaw failed, then
they would just go over the training again. Made sense to the Hornet.

Pausing on the pairs walk in the territory to scratch behind his ear, he let out a large yawn. "Let's get movin' so we can bask in our victory in the sunlight." He purred, half-jokingly. He was totally going to take a nap after this. The warmth of the sun finally returning was just too good to resist? Oh- ahem. Anyways.

"We'll start with hunting first. You'll need to catch at least two pieces of prey successfully." Yellow gaze suddenly became serious. "Ready?"

She really only needed to the fighting portion of the assessment, Flamepaw can hunt and whatever more than fine actually. Though climbing may be a struggle with her eye being useless to her now, but that doesn't matter. People like to say that Thunderclan were squirrels but outside of it being a requirement for your ceremony, how much does a cat actually climb up trees? Genuinely. Not at all is your answer, which meant it wasn't a concern of hers in the slightest.

Without any words to the russet hornet, Flamepaw continued walking as he finished talking, the yapping probably scared away anything within the nearest vicinity. At least this time her assessment was in new leaf- especially early new lead when all prey was waking and slow. Not that she couldn't hunt in Leafbare, it would just take the unnecessary parts of the assessment go by quicker. Her ears turned every which direction and she slowed down and watched her paws so that nothing would be startled off by her movements.

Tracking: 12 -> Pass | Hunting: 19 -> Easy catch

It wasn't long before she found something worth bringing in, a mouse that seemed to have gotten the early worm at gathering and foraging while many were still slumbering in their burrows. Or perhaps leaving early was something of an idiotic move, especially when it seemed to have forgotten the predators that search for it here. Flamepaw pounced and killed the creature easily before burying it nearby and continuing on her hunt.

Tracking: 12 -> Pass | Hunting: 16 -> Catch [ good rolling flame ]

It was at a nearby stream, smaller than any river near the Riverclan border- and not like she wanted to be out there anyways with those otter things roaming around. But it had frogs that- honestly, got a bad rep for some reason, an acquired taste and all, but that wasn't what she was hunting- attracted some seagulls. Weird, usually those things stayed near the Small pines, but she supposed that all creatures were weird and they weren't far from the ocean.

Crouching and creeping up, Flamepaw pounced as the gull ducked down to pick at whatever frog had its attention then. It didn't even see her coming before her teeth were in its throat. The frogs had scattered, sending ripples across the surface of the water. The dead one that the bird was munching on remained awkwardly floating. It was beyond cat edibility, so Flamepaw left it.

"There, what do you want done now." The apprentice asked the world around her, assuming that if Raggedear would've remained nearby to watch the assessment. She buried the gull under a nearby bush as she waited for his response.
