[WindClan] in those fleeting moments

Hey WCO community! You may have noticed my latest addition to WindClan: the ever anxious Fleetpaw! So named "Fleet" by other rogues and loners when he was young because of how hastily he retreats from confrontation. This shall serve as his finder page for all things.

Meet Fleetpaw! He's my skittish little anxious fluff and I love him and he is my cinnamon roll. That said, he's new to WCO and needs some connections! Fleet was not born in WindClan, he was born to a loner named Flower. Flower died when he was very young, which was the start of a very difficult time in Fleet's life. The full history is on the above linked page, so I won't go in depth here, but suffice to say that his scars were all received prior to him being taken in by WindClan when he was about 5 or 6 moons old. He was treated, healed, and now feels he owes WindClan a debt that can never be repaid.

Fleetpaw is a classic over-thinker and second guesses everything he does. This also means he thinks very carefully about the words he chooses in conversation. While he has a very low self-esteem, he isn't necessarily self-conscious. In his mind, he knows he's weak and scarred and doesn't mind stares or other cats pointing out his weakness. He truly loves being part of a clan, and takes comfort in the sounds of his denmate at night when it's time to sleep. But the moment he steps outside his den, he's on edge. His mind is always expecting and anticipating danger and threats from behind every corner.

That said, while he'd be shaking with fear doing it, one thing Fleetpaw would never second guess would be giving his life to save a clanmate.

Looking for:

Kin - Fleet is an orphan with no known siblings. But as a writer, I am open to some "long lost half sibling" action.

Best Friends - I think Fleet would be the type of cat with one best and closest friend (other than his eventual mate, who would be his best friend as well). This friend would be like his own kin, and he'd give the pelt off his body for this cat. This would be someone who's both patient with him, while also not shy about pointing out that Fleet's self-depreciating talk is actually harmful to himself and therefore the clan. Thus over time getting him to realize his own value. This cat would be one of the few who know and understand the inner-workings of Fleet's mind.

Friends - Friends could either notice Fleet's true nature or not. These cats could be either patient with his anxiety and the way he talks about himself or totally try to over-power this with positivity. Fleet isn't the type to get annoyed with super bright, positive cats. In fact, he'd probably appreciate it and see it as them being kind-hearted and generous.

Crush/Lover/Mate - Fleet, despite his jumpy, anxious nature, is rather intelligent. That said, he's also super dense with a low self-esteem. So he's unlikely to recognize any romantic feelings right away, either directed towards him, or that he feels for someone else. This character is one of my favorite and most original OCs, so I won't commit to anything without RPing it out some first to see how it goes.

Bully(ies) - Fleet is the ultimate target for any bully. Although he may also make a boring target because he'd be inclined to agree with most things a bully says about him. Why yes, I am a coward. Ah, yes, I am very weak thanks for having my back! Sooo...do with that what you will lol. It would probably take an extremely dark-hearted bully to do even further damage to Fleet's self-esteem than what has already been done. So if that's something your cat wants practice with, he's your guy!
