Ashpaw slowly walked in, seeing the situation at hand and deciding to try and not be much of a bother. Their muzzle still hurt like hell, but the blood had.. mostly stopped.
“Hey, uhm, so sorry to.. uh.. be a.. bother.. but.. I..”
They thought.
Ashpaw couldn’t tell Wolfpaw a spirit had beaten them up! That was embarrassing. And also probably illegal, or something. Whatever, confidential confident. Was that even a phrase? Whatever, they’d just make it up.
“I may have whacked my whole muzzle on a sharp rock. Or. Something. I forgot. Anyway.. uh.. would you be.. able to help me?.. please.”

Dear Starclan, that was a terrible excuse. And the last bit? Ugh.
Ashpaw winced at both the pain of their wound and at the fox-dung excuse they made.

The scent of blood alerted Wolfpaw of someone's arrival. But something else made his fur stand on edge. Faint ShadowClan scent. The faintness was enough to set the brown medicine cat off. His green eyes narrowed as an apprentice with a clawed muzzle came in. "I dunno who you are or why you're here. BUMBLE! THERE'S A SHADOWRAT IN MY DEN!" he called out, flexing his claws. They would have bumble handle this, and when worst turns to worst, she could fight if needed. Not Wolfpaw. Wolfpaw didn't know how, after all.

"Ay, AY! I'M THUNDERCLAN! I just.. joined a couple of days ago is all. Ignore how awkward that sounds ror me to have been injured already." Ashpaw attempted to explain to the medicine cat.

Slypaw heard a queen screaming from the nursery and had immediately jumped to his feet. He ran into the medicine den. "Wolfpaw, I'm sorry to bother you but I heard Sandstorm yelling that her kits are coming" he said. He stood awkwardly for a moment before leaving the den.

She peeked into the den making sure the medicine cat was around "Anyone Ho-" She attempted to say, coughing in the middle of her sentence.

...Sure. okay. Wolfpaw gave the older cat a skeptical look before hobbling over to the herb store. "If yer lying, I'll have your pelt lined in my nest," he hissed. Looking in the herb storage, he muttered under his breath. Aconiteheart had warned him about not using too much of the same herb, and he was going to use horsetail, but it seemed the low stock had other plans for him. He grabbed a cobweb and marigold before heading back. The tripod medic chewed the marigold into a poultice before applying it to the cobweb. He then took the cobweb and placed it firmly on the scratch ashpaw had. Wolfpaw backed up, letting the apprentice have some space. "Anythin else ya need?"

The medicine cat was checking the herb storage when he heard a cat make their way into the den, and with a cough no less. There better not be any more of The Sickness spreading around. "Right here," he muttered as he hobbled over to the warrior. "Got a cough, anythin else feel icky?" he asked? It was either a cough or an illness, both of which could be treated with the brown tripod's current knowledge. What herbs he has that can help, will be a different story.

"Hey uh Wolfpaw, I got some sick kits here. I'm gonna set 'em down it that's okay", Slypaw mewed. He wasn't really sure if he was supposed to stay in the den or leave so he decided to wait to be excused. I was unlikely but the medicine cat might need him for something with the kits. He crouched down and gestured for the kits to climb down.
