Winterpaw dutifully joined the rest of his clan under the tree where Twilightstar stood, towering above them. He couldn't help but admire the old maple, even if it was still too cold for its warmly colored leaves to grow back yet. He waited for Twilightstar to continue with the meeting.

Larkswoop was “sleeping” in the warrior’s den when the announcement was made. With a huff, they scrambled to their paws and walked outside. Whatever Twilightstar had to say better be important… or else Larkspring would fall asleep.

You could tell exactly who'd been on the ill fated exploration patrol by the injuries. Swiftfire, Dunecall, Silverpaw, they were the members (besides Crowtooth) present and all bore little white patches of cobwebs. Yay for them. The tunneler had no doubt there'd be warnings of the minks and to stay away from the falls until they could be chased out and such.

What fun.

Rabbitkit

Rabbitkit startled as the sudden call rang out from the Galewood. Twilightstar was calling a clan meeting. His very first clan meeting! Wait- was he allowed to attend without Quailheart? The little tom looked around and to his happiness it seemed like kits were joining as well. Rabbitkit looked at the gathering crowd and couldn’t help but explode with excitement as he bounded over and looked for a spot where his view wasn’t blocked by any of the warriors or apprentices.

Eventually the kit settled in a spot further away but he was able to see and hear the leader just fine so it would work. As Rabbitkit looked over the leader he began to frown slightly. Why was Twilightstar moving like that? Was the feline hurt? What happened? Rabbitkit looked over to the medicine den in a quick glance. Well, Twilightstar would surely get some herbs from there if the pain was really bad.

While the thought didn’t completely smooth the kit’s concern for his leader, it calmed enough to be able to sit and wait quietly versus pacing in nervousness. Pricking his ears and narrowing his eyes, Rabbitkit gave his leader his fullest attention.

Whisperingpaw padded out of the apprentices den and looked around. Was Leopardsong here? Probably not. She had queens and kits to take care of. The young tom trotted around some cats to look for a place to sit, and for Stempaw. Whisperingpaw brightened at the thought of Stempaw and sat to the side like he usually did, hoping Stempaw would find him.

Deadmoon rolled up to the meeting, noticing that Twilightstar looked a bit the worse for wear. Oh dear. Hopefully it wasn´t due to other clans, and they weren´t about to declare war. Though, anything that could rough their leader up like that couldn´t be friendly. (open)
