Dustpelt and Sandstorm Aren't Siblings!?

I was today years old when I discovered Sandstorm and Dustpelt aren't siblings! I was randomly looking at their wiki pages and I was bamboozled and I have many questions!!!

1. If Ravenpaw was also an older apprentice (Because Dustpelt his littermate was) why did he always train with Firestar and Graystripe who were younger apprentices?
2. Did Dustpelt like Sandstorm and that was why he was jealous when she started becoming friends with Firestar (I always thought he was being protective of his sister XD)
3. Am I the only one who thought this because I am genuinely in shock!

I don't believe they formally trained together, but it's not uncommon for apprentices to hunt together and bond. Ravenpaw was a fearful cat and Fire/Grey recognized that and made an attempt to become his friend and earn his trust.

2. Did Dustpelt like Sandstorm and that was why he was jealous when she started becoming friends with Firestar (I always thought he was being protective of his sister XD)

Pretty sure it was confirmed he had a crush on her and became jealous.

3. Am I the only one who thought this because I am genuinely in shock!

i assumed they were siblings as well in my first read through. it definitely surprised me when i found out they weren't XD

Hol up WHAT. First off, I never thought they were even sublings, though of course it seemed like it from time to time. Second, wait so is Ravenpaw related to Dustpelt????

I've thougt that they were brothers too! i'm surprised!
