Not smelling anyone, he sighed... And approached a tree which he marked "Alright everyone. We will go soon. Try to mark one or two trees. And do it so the smell will remain for a long time.", that was his only order, but as he went toward a second tree, he smelled something... Prey... He looked around... And spotted a rabbit across the border... Should he get it or not? He didn't knew... River Clan needed prey... Yeah... He should try to get it... He crossed the border carefully, looking everywhere around... And jumped right on the rabbit after getting close enough... He bit the rabbit hard. Killing it instantly... Great. He went back at his side of the border, and made sure noone saw him, instead he casually approached "I just caught a rabbit... A big one I must admit..."

Amberpaw began marking, doing her best to focus. Although she was impressed at the rabbit, none of them smelling it before he caught it reeked of something she shouldn't question.

CinnamonSwirl watched her patrol mate gather a root. She explained to Cinnamon that it was comfrey, used for broken bones. "Cool!" CinnamonSwirl muttered.

Listening to the Lionheart's orders, Frostpetal started marking a small tree. "Nice catch." She said. Frostpetal never talked much, just one or two words. And she prefer to keep it that way, too. If she was a little bolder, she'd probably be very rude, but she respected her clanmates, unlike a few cats she'd heard of. She turned when she heard Nightspark talking about the rabbit. Is this bragging or something? No, no. Why would someone do that? I could've caught it if I'd seen it... Wait, why couldn't she have seen the rabbit? I prolly just missed something. Can't be perfect, I guess.

Nice... Everyone had done his job on this patrol, he spoke out loud, to make sure everyone heard him. "Alright, our job here is done! If a Wind rat crosses the border it's his fault. And if he's killed it's WindClan responsibility. Now let's go back." He turned toward the direction of the camp and started to move, still having the rabbit in the jaw...
Dapplewing guided his patrol to Sedgewater Valley, stalking closer to the border before he paused just at the edge of it. Casting a smile towards his patrol-mates, he kneaded at the grass below them. “Alright, let’s go over the scent-markers. Trees and what-not. If we come across any Windclanners, I’ll do the talking, alright? I doubt anything will happen, though, so let’s just do what we came here to do.”

Without any words from her, she trailed after the two warriors since this would technically this would be her first border patrol. The last two she got dragged out for were both hunting. "I got two questions!" she said aloud sending a look to both Dapplewing and Newtberry. "First, how do I go about marking? and Do I mark any bush or whatever I come upon?" she asked with a tilt of her head.
“I have two answers! Probably,” Dapplewing responded with a childish grin, pausing for a moment where he stood, kneading the ground with his claws unsheathed. Ah.. This must have been her first border patrol, then! How exciting! Bringing an apprentice out on their very first border patrol!
“Oh, well it’s pretty easy. When I do marking, I just brush my pelt up against trees, bushes–anything, really. Just as long as it’s on our side of the border, of course. I also like to knead and scratch things, too, because that’ll leave scent marks as well.” Hence why he was currently kneading at the ground like a wee-baby kitten. Guiding the apprentice a bit closer to the border, but not over it of course, he brushed his fur up against a bush as they passed by it.
