Blue was a tad bit late to the meeting so she sat in the back, hoping to be overlooked. Their scent was a mix between riverclan and loner. Blue watched as the ceremony was being preformed 'Who or what was starclan?' She thought, bewildered.

“Then by the powers of StarClan, I shall give you both your warrior names.” The mighty oriental tomcat remarked firmly, sitting tall and seeming to look over the crowd situated below, keeping his gaze focused on Mintpaw and Amberpaw only in that very moment, “Amberpaw, we honor your tenacity and skill in hunting, and RiverClan shall now welcome you as a full clan warrior. From this moment on, you shall be known as Amberwing.” He dipped his head to the dark gray molly with a prod smile evident on his maw, before turning slowly over to Mintpaw. "Mintpaw, we honor your vast intelligence and everlasting patience. We shall now welcome you as a full warrior of RiverClan. From this moment on, you shall be known as Mintpool." A single moment of silence would pass by, allowing that feeling of accomplishment and honor to hopefully wash over the two newly-named warriors, before he would start the chant of approval. "Amberwing! Mintpool! Amberwing! Mintpool!" Pikestar yowled the names loud enough for all to hear, welcoming these proud, strong new warriors.
Once the chanting would finally calm down, he would not waste any time in reminding Amberwing and Mintpool of something quite important. "Tonight, you will begin your warriorhood by preforming a silent vigil, standing guard at the camp entrance." He mentioned, blinking at the two young she-cats with a prideful gleam in his one eye. As that was all taken care of now, Pikestar carefully switched gears and then would find another face in the crowd. "Pondwhisker." The RiverClan leader called attention to the longhaired brown tomcat, "You have served this clan well for many moons now. Is it your wish to give up the name of a warrior and go to join the elders?" They had never preformed an elder ceremony before, so the tall River Lord hoped this would suffice for this first experience. It was very rare that Pikestar witnessed warriors in RiverClan actually retiring, so he was relieved to allow a cat to rest in a warm nest rather than in a hole in the ground. They would respectfully await the senior's answer.

Ambling forth, the elderly tom nodded to his leaders words. "Yes, Pikestar. It is. I've spent many moons protecting RiverClan. I think its time for retirement, as much as I hate it." He let out a mirthful purr and almost tried to curl his tail, forgetting it had been bobbed.

Amberpaw- No, Amberwing, sat stock still for a second, savoring the moment like nothing else in her life. She'd made it. Somehow, she'd made it. She was a warrior. Listening to the leader's chant, she began to grin.
That silent vigil would be the most wonderful night of her life.

Swiftsplash sighed. Looking at Pikestar with an apologetic nod. She had over reacted about not being able to speak. It was rude and immature. She'd have to wait her turn to lay beside Pondwhisker and share old stories with kits. Letting out a sigh she leaned against Pearlnight lightly. Oh how her daughter had grown....so precious to her.

Cloverdust's eyes widened in surprise as she heard her name called. Her, a mentor? She hadn't ever given that role much thought before, seeing it as something beyond her. Now that it was suddenly a reality, however, she wasn't quite sure what to do. She rose to her paws, hesitating briefly before making her way to where Smokepaw stood. Well, it couldn't be that difficult! Even if she did feel a little unsure, she wasn't one to back down from new experiences. Smiling at her new apprentice, she meowed, "I'll do my best to help you with the rest of your training."
After the apprentices were reassigned, Cloverdust turned her attention once more to Pikestar. Her smile grew as she watched him name the new warriors, and cheerfully, she added her voice to the crowd. "Amberwing! Mintpool!"

Smokepaw nervously approached her new mentor. "H-Hi. I'm Smokepaw.. your new apprentice. Yay? I guess?" She noticed Mintpool and Amberwing recieve their warrior names and quietly cheered for them

Dipping his head respectfully to the senior warrior, the tall oriental longhair would then officialize the ceremony. “RiverClan honors you and all the service you have given to us. May you have many moons of rest, Pondwhisker, you may move into the elder’s den as soon as you desire.” Hopefully he would be kind to Ranch Dressing and Cheeseburger as well as vice versa, but the Lord of the Waters personally did not think of any trouble that could arise between the three elderly cats. If anything, he was more so glad that their restless kittens would have more seniors to go to when they all were itching for a story or two of the olden days, much before his own time. With that, there was nothing left for Pikestar to say. "That is all for this clan meeting. Be safe, and keep up the hard work, alright? You are all dismissed." A gentle nod to the bustling crowd was all that the large scarred RiverClan leader gave to his clanmates before he leapt down from the Streamstone, turning on his paws and disappearing into the privacy of his own den. A simple and quiet end to a clanwide meeting, which was preferable compared to the usual drama and whatnot. The next moon would be here any day now, and Pikestar was already planning the next meeting. Things hadn't gone perfectly at this one, but they couldn't complain. For now, they had many things to sort out, Beetlepaw's training being one of such things. How very exciting for both of them.
