Garlic Feather heard the call for the meeting and let out a drawn out sigh. He could take a good hard guess on what this meeting would be about and he’d have to sit through the whole thing knowing that half the cats here are probably injured, heck garlic himself was injured. But he wasn’t the sort to rush to get medical attention at a little bite or two, nah, he’d be perfectly fine. Garlic moved to find some cat to sit near well he listened, but decided to just stay out. Garlic blinked with surprise pulled out briefly of his sour mood as Dandelion leaned against him as she passed, and he felt a little better for sure. Garlic Feather wasn’t much for words, so he’d have to get dandelion a gift and all- (maybe another rock or that thing with the crystals) to make sure he wasn’t being a lousy mate. It sorta felt odd to call her his mate now, he’d never really given it thought but he was still used to calling what they had friendship and good friends etcetera. Garlic blinked as he brought his attention back to the real world, right the meeting. Focusing his attention on Bird Snow he visibly winced at the sight of the injuries on the leader. Had she gone to the star cave yet? Glancing around he made the realisation there still wasn’t a deputy and medicine cat (duh), he hoped that’s what this meeting would be about. He’d like to finally see some cat worthy of the role step up and take it, and a new medicine cat would be pretty ideal right about now. Garlic actually didn’t have any cats in mind for who he thought was worthy, as it should be. He didn’t have a say in who got what anyhow so there was no need to take a glance and assume or guess like it was a game. Personally garlic was so lost in thought because he was trying to cleanse the cloud of bad feelings clogging up his common sense.

Despite the likely protests from Cobs and her aching injuries, Dusklion limped out of the medicine den at the call of Birds. Her good ear angled forward as her eyes found the leader while her torn one remained wrapped in cobwebs, her maw pulling into a tight grin. Something about the she-cat looked... powerful, like perhaps this was the snow that would finally make RiverClan pristine and regal as they once had been. So mustering up what strength she could, the dark tabby tilted her head back and gave a heartful yowl of approval, tail lashing behind her as a grin stretched across her face. Perhaps it would be startling to those around, but her blue eyes shone with pride as she stared up at her leader. It felt good to feel like there was some cat up there finally worthy enough to take over the mantle.

As much as she would've liked to sit in the front, it didn't seem possible with her shoulder. However Dusk had taken note that her injuries were on their way to healing. Her head still felt funny, but she was up and walking, and would count it as a win. So after taking a few steps outside the medicine den and a wobble of her legs, the dark tabby plopped down with a laughing huff, eventually trailing off into a small hiss of pain. Oh, if only Bitey could see her right now. Or Fury. Take an eye and she'd fit right in.

cobwebpaw limped out of the apprentice's den, eyes weary with exhaustion and paws plodding onto the ground painfully. ' i swear to starclan. ' she meowed, mostly to herself. noticing eaglekit looking (presumably) for her, she walked a little further, pain etched across her features, and settled next to the kit. ' dusklion.. if you must be out of the den, hurting yourself- just.. come sit next to me. ' cobwebpaw spoke, in so much pain she looked about to cry.

Birchpaw sat near the edge of the clearing, her amber eyes narrowed. Her tail tip twitched as she wondered what Birdsnow had to say.

A low whimper rose in her throat. After all her hard work to try and impress Birdsnow, Fadingsun had come and ruined her chances of becoming RiverClan´s deputy at all.

Over a simple herb patrol had the she-cat gotten demoted. It wasn´t that much of a deal.

Whistlekit watched from a shadow at the edge of the group, with his tail wrapped tightly around his paws. His eyes were wide and vacant. He was rather shell-shocked in wake of the brutal ambush, though no one he was close with had suffered enough to perhaps warrant this response, at least in some cat's eyes.

Swallowkit sat next to her sister, wide-eyed and quite ruffled. She was rather closer to Dawnkit than she might have been on a normal day, seeking comfort in closeness.
