Lionsbeach was nice Foxpaw thought. "The Lionsbeach is pretty! I would love to know you more, if you don't mind!" Foxpaw was starting to get a bit regretful for making Spiderpaw uncomfortable... He tries to make things better, he wants to be Spiderpaw's friend at some point. "Let's see I was abandoned by my parents, I don't even remember who my parents were..." Foxpaw feels depressed at the thought. "That's a secret about me... it's dark" Foxpaw looks down feeling sad.

Spiderpaw blinked at Foxpaw's quick sharing of his past. She knew that she'd seen him around when she was just a kit in the nursery, but she felt guilty for not noticing he didn't have a family of his own. She rarely left papa's side when she was little, though.
Wait, was she supposed to share back!? Oh, no...
The blue tabby swallowed. "I'm... I'm sorry..." She started with, quickly trying to find a way to make him feel less alone. "My... My mom died when me and Weevilpaw were born... but my papa is still around... His name is Minnowrain. I have a lot of older siblings, too..." She told him, not knowing what else to say. She pawed at her bedding, watching the moss move instead of Foxpaw.

Spiderpaw fell silent. She wasn't sure what to say to that. She felt bad, not only for his situation, but for not having anything she could say to make him feel better. What was the tabby supposed to do? Her tail curled around herself as she tried to think of something, anything to ask.
"Who... who are your siblings?" She asked shyly, feeling like the momentary silence had been far too much pressure. She didn't like this! Spiderpaw was having a hard time enjoying the sunrise, not able to find the heart to look up from her paws still fiddling with her bedding. She wished she could disappear into the moss.

Spiderpaw looked up and opened her maw, but no sound came out. She couldn't think of a way to make him feel better. Yeah, she was stressed, but she didn't want him to feel bad. Instead, her maw snapped shut again and she looked back down at her paws.
Feeling a bit overwhelmed, the apprentice got to her paws and slipped out of the den to find something to do.

Yes, he had to admit that he felt a little awkward, standing here in the entrance to the den - not even his den, the nursery, but the apprentices' den - but so far this day had passed by much too slowly. And yes, he had two more moons of that exact same routine left, but in that case he might as well take advantage of the free time he had before his training properly started.
And one activity he could busy himself with was building his social network! Asterfly had mentioned something about a social web once and while he wasnt too sure what it meant, knowing his clanmates seem like something important.
Snowkit had fairly arbitrairly picked out an apprentice in the den, one who didn't seem too busy at the moment, and was now eagerly trotting towards them. "Hello!"

Midnightpaw turned to see a small kit approaching, amusement glittered in his eyes. ``Hey there!`` The tuxedo tom mewed, a smile forming across his maw. He always got pretty bad baby fever, so he admired kits coming up to talk to him. ``What's up!`` He asked with an ear-flick.
