Midnightpaw sat up in his nest, a weird dream waking him. The jet-black tom shook out his pelt and looked around. He stood up, taking a few slow pawsteps out towards the clearning. It was a nice morning, seeming cool and breezy. Midnight was about to get out when he tripped on what felt like a tail. "Oof! Sorry!" He mewed sheepishly, looking back at Seapaw. "Y'alright?"

OOF - Seapaw jolted - what was that?! His head swung round to see - ah, it was just another apprentice. "That's alright - I'm fine." They were already awake for the day, so they couldn't really be upset. "Are you?" They blinked up at the other apprentice - had he fallen over at all?? They hoped not, a morning medicine cat trip sounded rather stressful.

``Yeah, I'm all good. Just thought it would be nice to get some early mornin' sun.`` He paused for a second. ``You can join me if you'd like!`` Midnightpaw suggested with a smile.
He shook out his fluffy black pelt as he waited for an answer, adjusting his stance so that he wasn't blocking anything or just sitting there awkwardly.

Patchpaw padded into the apprentices' den, his eyes filled with curiosity and wonder. Since he probably wasn't gonna get any training down for a bit, he could stay in here. They looked around, finding a nest that was tucked away towards the side of the den and quickly flopped in it.

Aspenpaw rolled over in his nest hissing when something stabbed into his side, he sat up immediately only to find that he had merely rollin over onto one of the shells lining his nest, speaking of which his nest was a bit crowded now. With the small decorative shells, feathers and other trinkets Mari had gifted him along with his own findings he brought back. He definitely needed to find a better place for them. However right now he was sleepy and so without carrying to much he flopped back down onto the blunt yet still painful objects and rolled around till he found a comfortable spot. He presumed to fall asleep again.

Spiderpaw blinked open her eyes and yawned widely as she woke in the morning. She stretched and groomed the moss bedding from her pelt. She was still groggy as the early morning sun rose. A big yawn escaped her maw as she laid down in a loaf and watched the clearing brighten with the rising sun from her nest.

Spiderpaw looked over at the other apprentice and purred. "Good morning, Foxpaw... I'm Spiderpaw." She mewed as she sat up and curled her tail around her paws. She felt a bit self-conscious laying there like that. It felt lazy, and maybe it was a little lazy. The blue tabby just wanted to relax a little bit before getting the day started.
