Dandelionmane couldn't take it anymore, the idea of becoming a parent and having a litter of their own was simply too tempting. They didn't have a mate... but they did have a close friend. They'd met him while out searching for Flutterflame before learning of her exile. They'd occasionally see each other during training with Dandelionmane's apprentices and hunting trips. They actually ended up seeing each other a lot more between then and now, but this time their meeting had a purpose.

The pure white warrior took off out of camp, it was late but hopefully they'd be able to find Ollie and he will be awake. Dandelion had considered their feelings for this tom on a couple different occasions but simply just could not feel anything but platonically toward him. This would work out perfectly for the arrangement they were going to propose though.

After what felt like hours of walking Dandelionmane neared the border. The large warrior slowed to a stop at the border, they'd never... really left Thunderclan territory. Never really having the need to, up until now. Dande gathered all the courage they could before finally pushing themself forward. That's when they took off into the unknown land, hoping they'd be able to find where ever Ollie was. Stars it was getting dark... they yearned for the warmth and safety of home, but had a mission and refused to chicken out now.

"Ollie? Ollie! Are you around here? It's been a lil bit... I uh- wanna catch up and stuff!" They called out, looking around the area curiously. Where they even in the right spot? They hoped so. Dandelionmane took a deep breath before once more proceeding forward.

"Ollie?" Their voice was quieter this time as strange noises began to bother the pure white Thunderclan warrior. I hope this trip wasn't for nothing... There was just too much drama in having the father in the clan, especially since they wanted to raise these kits alone, or at least with minimal interference from anyone else.

(wish i could change the title didn't even notice i used the wrong letter until it was too late)

Ollie was in his den beneath the tree,
simply lying in the dark den,
until he heard a voice.
a familiar one, that is.
He rose up,
and poked his head out of the den,
before stepping out.
"'Ello??"
He called.
uff, it was too late for this.
He looked around,
a snow-white pelt catching his eye.
either some albino rabbit, or that clan kitty.
eh.
either way works.
he swished his tail casually;
"You lost or sumthin'??"
He called again.
"Its too dark to be training or su'm."
he yawned.

The pure white Thunderclan warrior's perked up as they heard a voice call out to them. They recognized the voice, at least mostly. It was late enough Dandelion would risk anyone finding them. They shot toward the sound of the voice, a familiar grey and black pelt coming into view.

They picked up their pace, running as fast as they could only slowing to a stop once within ear shot "Ollie! Thank Stars its you!" They called out, giving him a friendly nod and smile "It's been a couple moon since we last saw each other- Would blame ya if you wanted to stay away from the borders though- I've heard some pretty crazy stuff" They said with a frown.

A twig snapped in the distance could be heard, Dandelion's head whipped toward the sound. Out here was so... scary compared to the safe forest of Thunderclan. A shiver ran down their spine as they turned their attention back to Ollie "How've you been? I hope it's been nicer out here since the weather's been warmin' up" They said, followed by a nervous laugh.

They figured it'd be best to catch up before just dropping their request on him. They... should be safe... at least mostly safe here with him, so they allowed themself to visibly relax. A soft sigh escaping their maw as they looked back toward the older cat.

"Sorry for dropping in so late... it's the easiest time to get out of Thunderclan without being bothered" They said, flashing him an apologetic smile.

(LOL i just do a lot of training roleplays LOL Dande has officially trained 2 apps basically fully and is being bothered IC to mentor a former app's boyfriend so i just naturally put the T instead of P lmaoo)

"yeah, I've mostly just stayed over this way where no-cat really comes."
he shrugged,
"Makes sense."
he looked around, his ears perked.
Why was Dandelion here?
he wondered, a curious expression on his face.
"Anywho, whatcha' doin out here this late?"
He asked.

"that's- that's fair.. probably safest too for sure!" They laughed nervously, their tail tip twitching wildly. The next question was the question. It wasn't dreaded, but they'd hoped to have been able to hold it off a little longer. Dandelionmane averted their gaze, glancing down at their paws, brows furrowed. How could they explain this? or even ask this of him. They took a deep breath before raising their gaze to meet him. Finally they spoke.

"w-well... I've been... raising a best friend's kit- She died while kitting but- I don't know... It got me thinking... maybe I want that... I've been sitting on these thoughts for three moons and decided that I was sure I wanted to" They paused for a moment before continuing [b]"I decided that I wanted kits of my own... but them having a father in Thunderclan opens up a lot more drama than i want- I would like to raise them by myself and it'd be... strange having the father be in the clan but not in their lives-"[b] Oh stars they were rambling now

"A-anyways- I didn't want to just go to a stranger either- I remembered meeting you when Flutterflame was..." Dandelionmane sighed softly "When she was exiled and you helped me look for her... and I trust you, and I even consider you a friend-" They were stalling more, why was this so hard

"I was... wondering if you'd be willing to father my kits. You... won't have any responsibility- If... if I can find a way to bring them to meet you I will and I'll keep you updated on them too if you'd like" Their words came out fast and in one breath. Then came the waiting. Stars they hated waiting so much, they wished they could peer into his eyes and see into his brain.

Kits? He'd wanted the same, but at the same time, he still hadn't made up his mind.
Maybe he'd be able to keep one?

"Well- uh- I guess I can do it? I don't mind- really. I've always been quite fond of kits."
He smiled awkwardly.
