It was late and Raccoonpelt couldn't find it in himself to sleep. It was obvious that the former shadowclanner hadn't been able to get a good night's sleep in ages. Raccoonpelt felt as if he fell asleep his last two remaining kits would simply disappear and he'd be alone in this he wanted to join so much. So Raccoonpelt laid there his tail wrapped around his two loves, shielding them from harms way. After what seemed like hours Raccoonpelt finally feel his sleepless nights start to catch up with him as the raccoon-like tom felt his eyes start to slowly close. Raccoonpelt laid his head down before closing his yellow eyes.

When Raccoonpelt fell asleep he had expected just another dark void that would only last a second before he would wake up again in the morning. Though was he wasn't expecting was him opening his eyes and finding himself in a field of.. Stars?

Was this Starclan? The clan that Raccoonpelt himself will always turn away from? Why was he here?

Well, Raccoonpelt did the first thing anyone would do if they woke up in the stars. he panicked. Had he died in his sleep and left Minkkit and Flintkit all alone in that.. clan? Raccoonpelt looked down at his paws to realize his fur wasn't littered with stars like others have said. The tom became confused to say the least? Why was he here? What was the reason? Raccoonpelt stood there for a second before calling out into the Starry scape.

"Hello?"

The twice-dead molly had not a single clue as to what to do here. She hadn't been gone lone enough the first time to have a true idea about what the StarClan territory was like. She had seen many cats, but she had to protect Martenkit. Silversnow knew that no one would hurt her, and there was even a pretty flame-point that helped her out, but Silversnow didn't trust any of them. As she walked along a path, her niece following, Silversnow saw... something... materialize.

As she walked closer, she realised what it - or who - it was.

Raccoonpelt.

The silver coated tabby let out a gasp, running towards the tom who had been her brother-in-law. Tears began to well in her eyes as she attempted to bowl him over in a hug. "I'm so sorry, Raccoonpelt! I tri-tried to protect Marten! I'm so sorry!" Her words came out in a howl as she began to sob harder and harder. She had so much guilt over this, that she had been the reason her brothers daughter was dead. If she had known, Silversnow would have never brought her out.

Martenkit was always scared here. Her daddy wasn't here with her. Auntie was, which gave her a bit of comfort, but she wanted her dad. She had met a nice lady who looked sad that Martenkit was here, and also... confused? She didn't know, but Marten didn't want to know. All she knew was she was to follow Auntie and stay with her. She trudged along behind her aunt, lost in thought, when a familiar scent hit her nose.

"DADDY!" She wailed, toddling behind Silversnow on 1.5 moon old legs. She began to cry, cuddling up to her dad, hoping to come back to see him. "I wanna come back home, Daddy, please! I'll be good and eat my fishies even if they aren't that yummy, I'll be so good and I won't fight with Minkie and Flinty! I promise, just take me home with you!" Big tears poured down her face, snot running down her nose.

She just wantd to go home.
