Vixenpaw was in the clearing looking for their mentor, Quietmouth. They padded around curiously, then they found Quietmouth. Vixenpaw walks up to their mentor and asks politely. "Hey, Quietmouth? Would you like to train me right now? I could go for some hunting, and I haven't seen the borders..." Vixenpaw mews.

Quietmouth felt a rumble in the ground and turned to see Vixenpaw, his apprentice, looking up at him. He purred and nodded his head in greeting, and cocked his head as they spoke, hoping they would remember he was deaf. He wanted to help them, but didn't know what they wanted.

Vixenpaw points their nose to the forest representing hunting. they felt bad for Quietmouth.

Quietmouth realized what they were trying to say. Oh, I haven't taken them through the forest yet! He nodded in understanding to the apprentice and lifted his tail for them to follow as he left the clearing and went into the territory, then waited for her to follow him.

Vixenpaw follows Quietmouth carefully. Vixenpaw had forgotten about Quietmouth's deafness... They wanted to apologize to him but didn't know how.

Quietmouth and Vixenpaw walked side-by-side as he led them to the boarder with Windclan. He then looked toward their territory, closed his eyes, and inhaled. He then looked at the apprentice and nodded for them to do the same, hoping they would realize that he wanted them to learn the Windclan smell.

Vixenpaw carefully sniffs the air, definitely Windclan alright. It smelled like rabbits. Vixenpaw looks towards Quietmouth and nods.

Quietmouth led Vixenpaw further along the boarder. He took them to the Saltmeadow Marsh, Riverclan's boarder, and paused to let them take in the smell. And walked around the area for a bit, showing Vixenpaw the best ways to traverse the sometimes tricky landscape.

Vixenpaw sniffs around the area and pads around exploring curiously. they are deeply focused in this training session and will do whatever it takes to succeed as a warrior. yet, they are upset with something right now. they didn't know what was wrong just a feeling deep inside that they never felt before.

Quietmouth finished a circle around the territory, then looked at Vixenpaw. He thought that they wanted to just see around the territory, but it seemed like something was worrying them. To keep their mind of whatever it was, he decided to try teaching them hunting a bit. So, he purred to get Vixenpaw's attention and looked in a direction where he had noticed some ferns rustling a few seconds previous.

Next, he fell to a hunting crouch and looked at Vixen to do the same.
