Silentpaw didn't know what drew him to the Nursery yet again, but... Something was. But this time, he didn't go empty-pawed. Held delicately between his teeth was a large raven's feather. For what reason you may ask? Well if you asked him he'd probably turn away and walk right back to the medicine den. So if you want this to happen better not ask >:]

The multicoloured tom poked his head in the warm and cozy den, eyes blinking to adjust to the dimness before it settled on a kit. He silently approached her, and gently laid the black feather at her paws.

"Hello, Littlekit." He purred softly, lowering himself to the ground in a loafing position to better look at the smaller kit. He would never admit, but he wasn't the most comfortable with her wellbeing. Weak kits were never good news. But so far, Littlekit seemed to be thriving. Yet a faint sense of impending doom tugged at him.

"You know I, I'm afraid of change."

Littlekit watched as her best friend Silentpaw came into the nursery. Finally! No more being bored! A huge grin plastered on her face.

"Hey! Hi!" Her cheery voice called to the other cat. "Whatcha got there?" Her eyes peered with curiosity at the feather. It was a long black feather (other colors, but she just payed attention to the black). It was really pretty. That's what mattered. And that Silentpaw (her ew favorite cat) was here.

"It's so pretty!"

"Raven feather." Silentpaw replied, nudging the feather closer to Littlekit. "Sturdy and soft." He watched Littlekit's eyes light up, filling with kit-like curiosity and excitement. It reminded him of himself.

"Isn't it?" He nodded, gaze unusually warm.
