Hello, and welcome to Rainclan! This is the Signups, Resources and Information page! To start off, Rainclan is not a normal clan by any means. To start with, at their apprentice ceremony, they perform it at Ocelot Stone, a rock that looks sort of like an ocelot with an orange topaz embedded in its chest. Secondly, they have basic human intelligence. When I say that, I mean they know stuff like glasses, books, can have pets, and clothing (if you like cats in clothing). Anywho, onto le INFORMATION!
Locations and Landmarks
Ocelot Stone
Ocelot Stone is a rock shaped oddly like an Ocelot. It has an orange topaz embedded where the chest would be if it was alive. The legend states that it used to be an Ocelot that guarded what would become Rainclan. Soon, the other Ocelots heard of this and formed sides. Only her siblings stayed with her, and the others began attacking the cats, the battlefield being The Spirit ridge. As the Ocelot and her siblings found out about it, they defended the cats as best as they could, but it became apparent their claws did not help much. She turned to stone to watch over the camp, and her siblings turned into the topaz that grants the apprentices powers so they would have a chance against the Ocelots. And... the cats won (Unrealistic, but it's fun.). Apprentices are brought here for their ceremony and the deceased are brought there before being buried in The Spirit Ridge. It is located on the side of their camp. Every moon, they bring a piece of prey to the feet of Ocelot stone and it usually disappears by the next morning.
The Spirit Ridge
The Spirit ridge was the battleground of the deadly Ocelot battle, and is now the burial ground of all deceased cats so that they can be buried with the noble warrior who fought in the battle. It is located at the base of Ocelot's Claw.
Ocelot's Claw
Ocelot's claw is a mountain that is rich in material and is often used as a hunting and gathering ground. High ranks climb to the top as a test for strength and at the top is Twistedtree.
Twistedtree
A Dinizia tree that looks as if it's been twisted. It is used as the Starcave/Moonstone/Moonpool of Rainclan and potential borders.
Camp
The Camp is a dip in the dense rainforest and is home to several dens, as every camp is. The first den is the Lookout, a Kapok tree with to hollows in them, one for the leader (the higher one), the Guardians,(larger in width but lower on the tree) and the deputy (the middle one) one.), each with a feline/friendly ladder leading into all of them. The thorns are cut off the tree and are used as a barrier around camp and the Ocelot Stone. (ik, it is still unrealistic.)They place the den there so the ranks can take watch.
The next den is the Medicine den, where the healing happens. It is an almost completely-open cave with tropic fern leaves covering the entrance. The shelves are made of stones and sap with tiny cases for the herbs and medicines laid on them with labels placed in front of them. Nice, wool-covered dens are placed in a neat, simple pattern for patients to rest in. A waiting area is separated by a divider of stones and a wall made of vines, sticks and leaves.
The warriors den is a small lake with Victorian Lily Pads floating on it, connected by a rope bridge similar to the ones the Aztec made. It is surrounded by a hut, and the outer edges have enough space for the nests for the disabled or the ones who lack swimming skill.
The elders sleep in the warriors den on the edges.
The nursery resides at the base of the giant kapok and is a large hut with weaved, fluffy beds for kits. The smaller beds are in the back because the smaller the kit, the less they can defend themselves. The outside of the den is covered in kapok thorns.
The Playpen, called the Playtunnel, is connected directly to the nursery and is a tunnel that leads to an open space with toys put in drawers and on shelves that can easily be accessed by a kit. It has a lockable hatch (from the inside) in case of invasion. There are two sections; one for older kits and one for kits under three moons.
The apprentice den is a giant ball of patchwork made by the apprentices.
The apprentice den has multiple kinds of workspaces for stuff like weaving and forgery. This will be explained later in rank descriptions. The den is made by the apprentices themselves and are assisted by their mentors in the process. It tends to be a random hollow heap covered in amateur weaving.
Besides the dens, there are workspaces for forgery, weaving, welding, cooking, designing, construction, shops, battle planning and performance, all encased by huts. (If you have any suggestions for jobs, lmk)
The meeting place is a for some reason oversized kapok thorn.
Rainstar's Scar
An oddly barren stretch of land with few, but useful herbs scattered around. Named after there first leader.
Quickriver
Quick river is a large river with all sorts of animals, including pink dolphins! This is used for many things, but watch out for poison dart frogs(Let's just pretend they're a little less poisonous). It runs right along the west side of camp. Has a bridge across it for accessibility to the Toucan fields.
Toucan fields
A chunk of their territory has much taller trees, and if you've learned to climb trees, you can catch bountiful prey. Across the Quickriver from camp.
Herblands
The Herblands have a lot of herbs, but not much prey. It is a tiny expanse near the Edge of Territory.
Macaw trail
A trail with lots of opossums and macaws.
Lush Fissure
A fissure/crater caused by the earthquake, in the middle of the toucan fields where Lushstar passed away. It is a large crater with fallen bits of rocks and dirt.

Leader
The leader is just a leader. Nothing special.
Deputy
Same as the leader, nothin stands out.
Guardians
There can be 6 Guardians at a time, and their job is to take watch, lead battles (sometimes), supervise activities and report news to their leader.
Warriors
Warriors can have jobs, but only forgers, weavers, welders, cooking, designers, architects, shop owners, scribes, and performers exist (unless someone gives me job ideas). Depending on there job, they train there apprentices the basic skills plus the job they chose as a kit.
Apprentices
See warriors. The apprentice ceremony is held at the Ocelot Stone, and they must boop the Topaz to get their core, a power they get depending on the kit's personality. They are also assigned a mentor by Starclan, despite their cores being given by the Ocelot's messengers. They are allowed to choose what job they are trained in.
Kit
See other ranks. Only allowed out of the nursery once they're on their way to the Ocelot Stone.
Skills of Rainclan
Rainclan is a skillful clan as life in the rainforest is hard for cats. They have been trained for climbing, Swimming, and Carefulness for complete safety and convenience. The are also pretty agile and fast.

Before Now
After the great war, Rainclan got it's name after The Ocelot allowed Starclan to connect with the living,(Sorry for not explaining that earlier) Rainclan continued to build up after the disaster and began to thrive through time and faith. One day, the leader was sick with a disease they couldn't find the herb for. In panic, they began attacking each other thinking they were not Rainclan and fell apart. (The story of a lifetime) One day, A she-cat named Lushy was wandering the forest, looking for prey, when she came upon the Ocelot Stone. As she was a curious cat, she sniffed the Topaz and accidently touched it. She woke up in a dream with the Ocelot, who told her all about the clan and let Starclan give her her lives. Now she is trying to rebuild the clan.

Guide to Cores
Cores are powers assigned to apprentices when they go to Ocelot Stone. If your cat is an outsider, you are still required to visit and The Ocelot will decide what core it is. A core should match the cat's personality. (eg. a shy cat could have invisibility.
