I have a problem with coming out, What do I do?

Hey guys I have a problem I want to come out to my parents as a bisexual, but one of them is homophobic! What do I do?

Maybe tell them and then say that you will always be the same daughter that they have known and that they have to accept who you are? @Neszuko

Perhaps it would be best to tread the waters carefully?

If your parent is homophobic, telling them you have to accept them will not improve their opinion of you.. it might make things worse!!!

If you want to come out, I recommend talking to the non-homophobic parent in private. Let them know you're bisexual, that you want to tell other parent, but you're unsure of how they'll react and you want advice before trying. They'll likely have a better idea on how their SO will handle the news.

I'm a closeted lesbian who has done much research on coming out, so I'll try to help.

Maybe try coming out to the parent who isn't homophobic, and explain your issue. They might be able to help you, and if not, tell them not to tell the other parent.
