It'd come to the Commanders attention that many of the apprentices were undertrained. They had little to no training, actually. Especially the group of -ark kittens that had been named about a moon ago.

How irritating.

So, in his typical manner, he'd made a short announcement that he'd be holding a battle training class. Now, who gathered? Only time would tell.

No Purrks

The apprentice bounded over, enthralled by the class. She hadn't been super impressed by her mentor so far and was looking forward to training under someone who knew what they were doing. Not that she didn't think her mentor new. . . she was just falling behind because of how long it was taking to get the training going.

Rainpaw sat down in front of Hawkbite, staring at the Commander eagerly.

with the promise of training presented to her rookpaw had approached the enforcer, hawkbite, with interest. shadowclan enforcers seemed to be more engaged in their actual jobs than any of the lionhearts she had seen the past few moons and rookpaw could see why. dawnstar was definitely not a cat she would want to be caught by while slacking on duty. her mind wandered briefly, to cobwebpaw and how much the other molly had been behind, despite having been a apprentice for longer than rook. the apprentice was curious when cobwebpaw would become a warrior, she didnt expect it to have happened yet, but would remember to halfheartedly look around at the next gathering she would attend. in all honesty, they didnt care muchrook sat, striped tail curling over equally white paws and let her grey gaze wander over the clearing, most cats seemed disinterested and no other apprentices had gathered yet, it looked like she was one of the first, good.

It was so funny you know she just been pondering about when she would get her first fighting lesson. Of course, no one would catch positive little Pidge sulking, but she was a bit sad that it had happened yet - she wanted to learn how to punch badguys dammit! But then, as if by magic, an opportunity presented itself - or rather, called from across the camp. Well either way Pigeonpaw wasn't one to turn down free knowledge when it walked out and told her to get her but over there! So with an excited grin on her face, the grey apprentice flew up and bounded over to Hawkbite.

Kestrelpaw sat beside the Apprentices' den, grooming himself as usual. With no tasks to do, he could only sunbathe and groom himself until new orders or training came. In all emphasis of the word he was bored—very bored, extremely bored; about to run into a wall just to see what would happen bored. For days, days! he'd practically been begging his mentor to take him out for more stealth training or hunting, or literally to do anything.

Lucky for him, his salvation came in a call from across the camp. A battle training class? Battle training! This was exactly what he'd been waiting for. Well, not exactly, but close enough! Without a moment's hesitation, he bounded over to sit in front of the enforcer, Hawkbite, barely pausing to glance around and see who else was joining. "Finally! Something interesting to do!" he muttered to himself.
