Frostpaw sat waiting in the clearing for any sign of his mentor, his eyes narrowed as he thought of his short time in the nursery, milk then pray and no mother, his mother was gone...he never heard stories of her and knew that his father was dead...so what was he missing. his black fur bristled at the thought, the thought that his own father died and his mother left or whatever. what was the point in starclan anyways? he never saw his father in dreams so the dead cats couldn't be real. his ears flattened. his fur was fluffy and he probably would struggle with fishing....what was he here for?

Treeheart walked up to his new apprentice, bursting with pride. He would be responsible for another cat! He was so excited- but where to start? Fishing was an easy lesson, but hunting was more skillful. Battle training would be alright I guess, but y'know. Oh right! Borders! They were important!
``Heyo Frosty- can I call you that? Anyway, we're gonna go to the borders first, tomorrow we'll probably do fishing but maybe`` He chirped cheerfully, delighted to teach someone.

Treeheart shrugged and flicked his tail, motioning for Frostpaw to follow behind him as he led the way. As they veered toward the Thunderclan border Treeheart began to pick up the pace. He wanted to try to get to fishing to make it less training, also Frostpaw didn't seem liked he liked to talk. Bummer, Treeheart loved to make friends. Guess that wouldn't be happening any time soon with Frost. Hah! He was Treeheart! If he couldn't be friends with his own apprentice, he couldn't do anything. He'd never give up, giving up is for losers! And he certainly was NOT a loser. He cleared his throat as they had made it to their first border: Smallpines. The border separating Thunderclan and Riverclan.
``Here is Smallpines, our border with Thunderclan`` He explained thoroughly ``We have a very hostile relationship with Thunderclan so make sure to veer clear of this border unless your with a warrior on border patrol or something. They attacked our camp recently so we don't like'em'. Any questions?`` Treeheart offered with a gentle mew.
