Status: Did you know that Goldfish actually have memories of up to 3 years?

DaylightKit was the last born. She squealed and shrieked before her father, FeatherFumble, scooped her up and placed her next to her mother and siblings.
She began suckling for milk before falling asleep, purring happily

The kit stumbled, trying to learn to walk. She fell after a few steps but got back up and tried again.
After a few tries she managed to walk a few tail-lengths. The first step (Haha, get it?) into the life of a ThunderClan cat.

DaylightKit was by the nursery, batting a mossball around with her siblings when her mother, FallenFlood, ran over, her eyes wide with fear and.. were those tears in her mom's eyes?
'Ma, what wrong? Why sad?'
FallenFlood looked at her kits and explained that.. Pa was dead.. He wouldn't be coming to cuddle tonight. Or any night..
DaylightKit wailed, running to bury herself in her mothers fluff.

DaylightKit was out playing mossball and suddenly stopped. Was that.. Pa's scent? How? Isn't he.. But Ma said.. hmm.
She ran over to her mother
'Ma.. I smell Pa. Why? Where is he? You said he was gone..'
