no good names come to mind
YELLOWTWIST
Though Yellowtwist was a warrior, he felt like learning something. He shouldn't, he had learned enough, but on the other hand, Shadowclan was being really bland and he wanted to go do something. Besides patrols, those sucked. Except for solo patrols. Before it turned into a tangent, he would get up and do something.
Hey, what if he learned that thing called flaying? He vaguely remembered someone mentioning it, and he remembered he thought the idea was pretty cool. But who would know? Perhaps Hawkbite? Definitely Dawnstar, but uh no. Who else... Well, some enforcers, maybe, a fellow guard... God damn it, the best he could think of was Mousesomething, and he wasn't sure they knew. Wait, no, that wasn't there name, it was Silversomething. Well, as long as it was quick. Lucky for Yellowtwist, he was able to determine the possible flayer cat was in camp by twisting his head around.
He approached the large gray tom. "Do you know how to flay?" He asked with a lack of tone.

Re: no good names come to mind

Shadow Fiend - Inactive | Just a Scratch - Active | Beefed Up [Tier 3] - Inactive
Boredom. Pain. Feelings that Silverlark had never been known to feel or express had become synonymous with his way of living ever since the mink attack. He'd had his cobwebs changed a few times, but it seemed that without realizing, he kept moving his neck just too rough, was not careful enough with his injury, reopening it again and again. He could feel Mosster's frustration, and he felt bad for the medicine cat, he did... but damn it just sitting around doing nothing was so not cool, yo! He was an enforcer and a mentor. Wasn't he supposed to be doing more, even if he was tec... tac... tekelimally? Even if he was getting better! Didn't matter. Anything was better than just existing!
A frown of frustration marring his usual happy go lucky - if perhaps a little vacant - stare, the tom flopped inelegantly on the ground, verdant orbs half moons of malaise. Even as his mind worked overtime trying to come up with some way to either train his apprentice or go out on patrol without landing himself an extra moon of nest rest, his eye caught movement close by, coaxing him to lift his head with a beaming smile to whoever was approaching... until he saw his companion's face. Okay. Ew. Yellowbelly the traitor. Never mind. He took it back. Just existing was better than being in close proximity with him.
At the tom's words, Silverlark narrowed his eyes with open suspicion. Frankly, Yellowbelly's mere existence was suspicious enough, his cuddly nature with ThunderClanners and his complete disregard not just for the rules but for his own clanmates making him lower than dirt and less trustworthy in his eyes. Any petition would have no doubt be met with disdain... but this query... while there was a cannibal on the lose was... sketchy at best. Hadn't they been briefed about this in their last enforcers' meeting? Over how they were supposed to be looking for whatever traitorous scum was eating cats while residing within ShadowClan? Well... this enforcer didn't have much proof yet, but he was pretty sure this one had something to do with it already. Why else want to know how to skin your prey if not to make eating your former clanmates a quicker ende- ideav- thing?
Still, the gray tom was a good ShadowClanner. Unlike this one. He wouldn't deny responses without reason. And who knew... maybe this could provide a clue! If the half eaten cats were suddenly found flayed before they were eaten then he could bring that knowledge up to Hawkster. Then give Yellowbelly the ol' one two. Bet he would never see that coming, heh heh! See? Even he could use his thinking muscles sometimes, mmmhmm.
"Yeh," Silverlark grunted, openly glaring at the malicious guard. "What's it to yous?"
