Something felt wrong in her stomach about the whole RiverClan thing this morning. It was like, gnawing at her insides, as gross as that was to think about. Timberpaw lay in camp, her tail flicking side-to-side and ears pinned as foreign thoughts flashed through her mind. She knew the sights, sounds, and feel of battle. She knew in her heart how terrible it could be, yet she'd never actually been there. Sure, it was most likely from the stories she'd heard, but there was something unsettling about how vivid it all was. She had to stop thinking, but couldn't.
Suddenly, she leaped to her paws, tail lashing even more aggressively. Her teeth gritted and she started pacing, trying to find someone. Anyone. She needed to get out and do something, she needed to. And so, this was how Timberpaw half-blindly found a cat larger than her and blurted out the words, "Can you take me battle training?" followed moments later by a "Please?"
