Once everyone arrived the hornet turned to the apprentices “ you two with me he meowed voice stern as he lead them to a less crowded area Look you two, I appreciate you helping, but you can't just go running out of camp without permission, you can't just run off it could have costed us more time, and we don't have a whole lot of time on our paws, if we took longer someone else could have died. Do you understand? once risingstorm got a answer from them he moved on I want both of you to turn moss scraps into balls and go keep the kits busy . every crime deserves a punishment no matter how helpful it is. I dont want to hear you complain okay he said with a final flick of his tail.

It seemed that Risingstorm would address their punishment right here, or well rather, the head hornet led them away from the crowd and the injured cats to a more private space ( which still wasn't very private, it was the clearing after all ). Rosepaw gave her full attention to the older feline, expecting something- perhaps even demotion, after all for all it was helpful it was reckless. As much as she wanted to be a warrior, she was still an apprentice and one that wasn't called to attention.

He said as much. While Rosepaw could see how it could apply to more stupid and reckless apprentices, Risingstorm himself saw how well Drizzlepaw and her handled it. They followed, they found herbs, they followed back with speed. They even returned their herbs faster than Pineblossom and Smokefang had ( though not by a worthwhile amount. It wasn't her place to argue, especially when she was in the wrong- "Whatever punishment you give to us, I would like to request that I take it for Drizzlepaw as well, he was only following after me and as leader I take full responsibility-"

Huh. Rosepaw stopped talking, squinting one of her eyes in a curious habit of confusion. "Y... you want us to play moss ball with kits as punishment? I mean, yes, of course Risingstorm." Though she was still very very very confused, that was, until her eyes caught the scene again. There are so many cats out and about and crying and yelling. She wanted to as well. It came suddenly that Risingstorm was likely using them to distract not only kits from seeing the scene and getting under paws but also providing an opportunity for Rosepaw and Drizzlepaw to help, like it seemed they wanted to do. ( Rosepaw did, and she assumes that Drizzlepaw did as well, he probably would've been less impulsive about it then she though. )
