Excitement shown in her face as her whiskers twitched. It was her first day of training and she was excited to be able to figure her way around the territory. Though she was a bit nervous. What if she strayed over a border or a hawk or something swoops by and she's unable to know its coming. Sure she had her great hearing, as well as touch, and smell, but she was always unsure of herself. Not to mention she wasn't just blind, but she was awfully small for her age.

All these bad thoughts in her head. When would she ever be able to realize she was a valuable member of her clan? She didn't want to let Windclan down. It was the last thing she wanted. "Which part of the territory are we going to go to first?", she meowed, softly. She was excited, but she had always been a quiet cat. There was never a lot she had to say. She wanted cats to like her. She didn't want to talk so much she made them uncomfortable they decided to leave.

Silverrose hadn’t expected another apprentice so soon, but here she was – Barleypaw at her side, on a trip through the territory. Barleypaw appeared quite a bit more eager compared to her other apprentice, if presence was anything to go by. She had, in all truth, expected a more experienced warrior to be assigned to Barleypaw – in all truth, she imagined it could be difficult to teach one with an impediment different from oneself. Silverrose had no experience in a world of darkness. But that only served to motivate the warrior further; to teach her new apprentice in such a manner she could stand equal to any given warrior she meets.
“We will be starting with borders; it is important you know those first and foremost. You will… Familiarise yourself with the territory as we go, of course, and we will be seeing exact locations afterwards. If you require me to slow down, do let me know.”
She answered her apprentice with a glance over her shoulder. She would have to remember to be more vocal about her instructions – this would be a chance to teach herself just as much as it is to teach Barleypaw. Approaching the ThunderClan border, Silverrose flicked her tail, slowing to a hart some ways before the end.
“This is the Thunderglade – our border with ThunderClan. Sniff around; quite luckily, borders are rarely seen and more so smelled. You should be able to tell where our territory ends by scent alone. And, remember, do not cross the border. Doing so only leads to trouble.”

Listening to her mentors pawsteps as well as keeping up with their scent she managed to keep up just fine. She walked almost right by Silverrose's side, but keeping back far enough to allow the older cat to lead the way to their first destination. Borders sounded like fun though she was a bit nervous to go near Shadowclan or Riverclan. After recent events with Riverclan as well as hearing the past events with Shadowclan she was dreading to be near those. It was her first day of training she really didn't want any trouble from either clans. Thunderclan didn't scare her as much as the others. They had problems with them, but it seemed to have died down... for now...hopefully for a long time.

Barleypaw used her paws to feel around their side of the border as well as scenting the air. Her nose almost wrinkled at the weird stench. She backed up a bit before licking her paw and drawing it over her nose. It still couldn't hide the smell, but she didn't want to say anything over it. "Are they a clan we have to worry about or are we pretty safe for right now? I know Riverclan we're having problems with and I'm not too sure about Shadowclan either.", she meowed with curiosity.

“ThunderClan… Is not the clan we have to worry about most, I suppose. We ought to be cautious, however.”
Silverrose pondered her own words, mulling over recent happenings though nothing much quite came to mind; her eyes scanned the other side of the border, awaiting Barleypaw to finish before flicking her tail over her apprentice’s shoulders.
“Shall we move on?”
She questioned, paws beginning to carry her towards their next border:
“The Whispering Wetlands, our border with ShadowClan. This is a clan ought to be cautious of; they have not been causing any trouble as of recent, but our history with them is vast… And grim.”
She told Barleypaw, keeping a close eye on her as she presumably went to inspect the border.

Once she felt like she was comfortable and that she knew the border she turned to her mentor. "Seeing the Thunderclan leader at the last gathering I'd prefer to stay cautious she meowed.", she meowed. Bumblestar sounded scary. She almost reminded herself of Dawnstar. They both seem to be the cats to cause problems.

She felt Silverrose's tail touch her back to move on to the next border. Speaking of Shadowclan there their border was. She moved closer to the border, but kept as far away from it as she could. She could try to feel for it from afar. With that stench why would she go near them. She shuddered at the thoughts of what Dawnstar had done to Windclan.

“Indeed.”
Silverrose mew, a bit morose. Though Bumblestar certainly had a certain flair of mistrust about her, the older warrior always would remain partial to seeing ShadowClan as their biggest threat. As such Silverrose was all the more on guard when they were at the ShadowClan border, and all the more eager to move on towards RiverClan. Touching her tail to the apprentice’s back once more, she quietly led Barleypaw towards their next destination.
“This is Sedgewater Valley, our border with RiverClan. WindClan and RiverClan used to have a rather long-standing alliance back when Lionster led them, though it seems the alliance ended with his departure. RiverClan hasn’t quite been the same ever since.”

Moving onto the next border the molly stayed close to Silverrose. She stood smelling the scent of fish. She hated being here. After all they had done to them. They were more scary than the other clans to Barleypaw. A piece of hatred hung in her chest. Sure they hadn't done anything to her personally, but they deserved it. "This Lionstar seemed to have every cat in line if they've gotten this low. Its hard to believe we were allies before.", Barleypaw meowed. Now they all acted like rogues.
