The curious kit was inspecting stuff around the nursery, and slightly outside it too. Apparently the kit had never seen a bee before, cause its pretty stripes just brought her closer to it. One of her first instincts with cats was to bite. So what was it for a bee? To lick it. It was pretty…so it probably tasted yummy too! Intelligent thinking right? She stuck her tongue out and snapped down to the bee. It immediately buzzed up and all around her face. “Ah!” she yelped, backing up. It’s buzzing was not pleasant. Then it landed in her tongue (which she still had out) and she felt a sharp pain. She quickly lifted her paws to her face and flung the insect off. Not pretty, it was NOT PRETTY. “Owth! Whath thishhh!?” she cried, trying to shake her tongue and stop the pain.

The young apprentice went inside the Nursery. It was almost crowded in there since there were so many queens and kits around. There were kits playing a few games of moss-ball. There was a lone queen in the back. She thought, "Wow, there are lots of cats here! I used to be a kit once."

Dawnkit and Nightkit walked around the nursery "Wow this place is beautiful!" Dawnkit says and smiles "Yeah! This place is so cool!" Nightkit replied as they continued to spectate their new home

PumpkinKit was currently lounging in his nest, eyes flicking around the nursery for something, or someone, to keep him entertained.

His ears perked up when spotting a familiar kitten striding around the nursery.

ChasmKit.

He had played with the kit once before, perhaps they would want to play again? He was bored out of his mind.

With a sudden movement he was on his paws, bounding towards the other kit before coming into step beside them.

"ChasmKit!"

He purred with excitement.

Chasmkit stopped in her tracks and immediately looked right at Pumpkinkit. She spoke with no emotion, "Hello Pumpkinkit! What do you want?" Chasmkit was slightly older than Pumpkinkit. She wondered if he had any family in Thunderclan.

PumpkinKit tilted his head slightly in confusion at ChasmKit's deadpan response, coming to a stop beside her. It wasn't the usual response he'd get from another kit, in fact, most the time they would be bouncing with excitement.

He knew the she-kit wasn't very... expressful. But he had been expecting a little bit more of a reaction. It had threw him off.

Was she mad at him? Annoyed? Was he annoying? Maybe.

He shifted his paws slightly, a little bit more intimidated than when he first ran up.

"Mm, I was wondering if you wanted to play.."

"Sure!" Branchkit mewed. She observed Honertkit's clumsy pounce and giggled for a bit, then chirped, "It's alright -- my pouncing isn't that good, either!" She also pounced, trying to attack a small leaf on the ground, but steered to the left as she landed. With a warm smile, she let out a friendly laugh. What a good -- ... friend?? "Wuh?" She flicked her head up, "nuh-uh, my pounces are perfect!" she asserted, aiming to pounce for the leaf Branchkit had missed - "watch this!"

The kit sprung forward awkwardly, missing the length by at least a fox length -- "uhhhh.... That was just unlucky." She sat up, brushing the dirt off her fur. "Maybe. But I'm gonna be a great pouncer!" She boasted, she was used to being in competitionwith her siblings, but... Branchkit was being nice. Maybe she didn't need to prove her skills? "and, uh, so are you! We're both gonna be great pouncers!" The compliment came a bit awkwardly at first, she wasn't used to giving them - but it soon flowed out naturally.
