Tsolmon is the picture of self-righteous fury, all bowed up and bristling, braced for an attack...but they don't strike with the paw that's risen to do harm. They don't strike because this stranger has claws, too. Big, grown-cat looking claws which...which of course Tsolmon isn't daunted by in the least! It just...caught their attention, is all. Briefly. And of course, Tsolmon is not frightened that Moss might eat them! They just...gulp extra hard because their mouth is suddenly dry for other, unrelated reasons, is all.

"Th-These be your final moments, rampallian! You'll sup on naught!" They decree, raising a paw to strike this worm down. "Lo! Death is nigh!" ....Tsolmon squeezes their eyes shut and swats blindly. Their claws are extended so, theoretically, it could be an injuring blow...unless Moss simply steps out of the way.

Moss tilts his head and simply steps back two pawsteps. He swatted the feeble cat's body to the side and yawned. "You must've not fought a lot, huh?" He noted and groomed his fur. "First thing, never close tour eyes. Your opponent might sneak attack you." Moss explained and padded to the young cat. "Now, where should I begin eating first? Tail, head, or paw?" He meowed, half to himself. Of course, Moss wasn't going to eat the cat. Maybe just a scratch or two and the little kit will be running off to its momma, screaming about a big scary cannibal. Moss smirked and leaned close to the cat's face. "What do you think?" He asked quietly and tilted his head, waiting for an answer.

They blink, aghast. How...dare he! Continuing to draw breath when Tsolmon had so clearly vanquished him...! And what's worse, the cad clearly still intends to...t-to eat the noble and ferocious Tsolmon...the horror! The injustice!!

Tsolmon scrambles back clumsily, whiskers trembling. "Stay back, fiend! I know not what l-low and, andand dishonorable tricks are at your disposal, but know this! You have made a sworn enemy of the mighty Tsolmon! ....Who has fought plenty!!" The quivering dustball-turned-cat multitasks, ranting and scooching back little step by litte step. "And, is, is famously inedible, you know." They add, risking a few over-the-shoulder peeks—right, left, right—to ensure that the coast is clear. It's about time to make a run for it.
