Softdaisy sat near the Nursery entrance, keeping a weary eye on the kits under her care that were outside the confines of the nest. Spiderlingkit… Hornetkit… Butterflykit… Dra— “Dragonflykit, sweetie, please stop running around. You’ll get underfoot.” The tired Queen’s voice was filled with concern as she got up to (attempt to) wrap a gentle paw around the kitten’s midriff and halt her running around. Sunflowerpaw tumbled out of the apprentices´ den, landing on her side in the middle of the clearing with a thump that sounded more painful than it actually felt, as well as a loud ´´Hmph!´´

Due to the fall, Sunflowerpaw´s pelt was all ruffled whenever she pushed herself into a sitting position. Shaking our her golden-and-cream mackerel tabby fur and giving it a quick grooming, the unusually massive apprentice got to her paws and began to look around for her mentor, Violetfreckle.
