Closed Unapproved character backstoy

So it has been brought to my attention that my cat Blizzardoak a 60 moon Tom has a backstory that should have been approved.

The story is that he was retired to the RC elders den around 35 moons for an infected leg injury. An injury he got during a dog attack when he was 14 moons protecting the RC nursery during Lionstorms time. The gray area of the back story is that his leg injury supposedly healed enough for him to be reinstated. So when I made him I just listed him as a warrior and never asked a high rank when he was approved if that history was ok.

Normally I already have this written in my bios, but I was particularly hasty in this case. Either way I would like to know how this should be handled since I had a recent post in the Med den where via a dice roll it was determined the leg was actually still infected and that Blizz will eventually lose it. When I mentioned to taillow that he would probably need to be moved back to the elders den, that's when I was made aware I should have gotten approval.

I could just say he's been trying to do warrior duties without approval, but I would like to know what staff thinks is best.

hihi!! i went ahead n chatted with bear [lionstorms roleplayer!!!] and according to him lion wouldn't have retired someone that young to the elders den and would instead have the leg amputated if was causin issues [rc already had meddie with only 3 legs in otterstone so it wouldn't have been an issue]

additionally, it wouldn't rly be realistic for blizz to survive having a leg infection for that long untreated as it would've killed him :0 so that would likely have to be changed in order fit in with wcos sense of realism

Let me clarify myself somewhat. Blizz got his injury at 14 moons, but it didn't get infected until he was 35 moons, as he reopened chasing prey by the river and falling in hitting a rock. It did heal after a few moons the infection clearing but his mobility was awful. Skystar would have been the one to retire him to the elders den, since it was when it became infected that he lost mobility. It would have been just before Snowleap/Pikestar took over.

Aside from the backstory though the real crux of the problem is that I have already made several posts with Blizzardoak where he has a leg, I wanna say at least ten. A hunting patrol, a leaders den visit, A talk with his daughter, and a med cat visit. So what I really need advice on is even if I want to say he is an amputee warrior, or something else how do I retcon this when I have already made multiple posts saying otherwise?

Also I should say with the med post it again became reinfected recently, but he ignored it not wanting to go back to the elders den. He didn't realize it was infected it just hurt.

[as skystar's roleplayer] seeing as sky was very present around the time of rc's amputee's, he likely would've also had the leg amputated and kept blizz in a warrior role instead of early retirement!

as for the leg, you wouldn't need to edit anything! you could go ahead and have blizz realize that maybe his leg isnt doin too well again, and then come to the realization it needs to be amputated or smth ^ ^ but he would've not been retired to the elders den during skys time
