Icy cold blue eyes scan the area beyond the yard. The stones under his hard paws are just as cold as he stares over the horizon, watching the sun rise. His tail itches slightly as a new, unfamiliar scent fill his nose. He slowly blinks at the sweet, milky scent and he looks far to his right. There is a she-cat there, and he is not surprised to see her bulging belly.
She's kit-heavy. He thinks to himself as he flicks his tail again. He watches her from his perch, watching her move. He hears a monster roar to life, and he sees her flinch and jump. He narrows his eyes, before he tilts his head.
and she does not like loud noises.
Ever observant, he keeps his eye on the she-cat until the lanky young tom jumps down and approaches her.
"Hello. Is everything okay?" He asks quietly, his voice low, soft, deep for his young age. He is blinded for a moment because of the way the sun hits her white pelt, and he waits for a moment to allow his eyesight to adjust to her heavenly whiteness.
