Crowbreeze padded along the Heather, his paws aching to sprint… to dive into tunnels… to just run. but he had to wait for his apprentice. Duh. He glanced over his shoulder—then stopped, his eyes bugging with horror. “Wait wait wait wait wait.” he said. “That is not how you walk on the moor!” he gaped at her. “The moor is a quiet place. That means you must fit with the… way of the moor. That means walk quietly. Please.” he took a breath. “Okay. Like this.” he walk a short circle around her, his long slender body lowered ab inch, and his tail above the grass. He set his paws down softly, his pads sinking into the soft peat. “Now you try.” he said, his black and white face smiling softly.

Not how you-huh?
Her face was cast with confusion for a moment.
Ohhhhhhh.

Basically, she was walking like an idiot.
Well, fitting with the way of the moor was a funny way to describe it, but obviously she was going to do what she was told.

She copied the way he was walking, and it took her a moment to get it just right, but she eventually got it.
Good thing she hadn’t done that in front of any other cat!

“Okay, I think I’m with the way of the moor now.” She said, trying to be funny.
Was she funny?
She sure thought so.

“Where to now?”

Crowbreeze let out a sigh of relief. Good. She got it. He smiled. “Very nice!” She was a fast learner. He loved that. “Well, I’m thinking we will head down to Twilight Falls… then to the ThunderClan border. What do you think? Tired?”

“Sounds great!” Leopardpaw replied with enthusiasm.
“Tired?” She commented cheerfully “I’m never tired!”

So next was Twilight Falls?
It sounded like it was named after Twilightstar, which seems cool.

Imagine if she had something named after her one day!
Leopardpaw would have to be a super amazing warrior to pull that off…
Easy peasy, she already had the super part down!
Now she just needed the amazing and warrior part!
She was already pretty close on that amazing part too.

Leopardpaw followed after Crowbreeze, walking much quieter now than she was before.

Twilight Falls. A dangerous place. Why had he chosen to take Leopardpaw there? She was so young! He looked up, and listened to the thundering of the water for a second. Nope. Not taking her up there. No way. She would slip and fall, no doubt. “O-okay. Not taking you up there. Admire it from a distance. That’s as close you are going to get for quite a bit. he gave a nervous laugh, then turned back to the footpath.

Crowbreeze padded down the hill to the Thunderglade. He took in a deep breath of ThunderClan scent. Smells like squirrel. Ick. Crow thought, then padded to the border. He turned to Leopardpaw. “Now. What border is this?” he smiled.

After Crow cleared up everything around the border, checking scents, etcetera, he led his apprentice back up the path. “To Sedgewater!” he said brightly.

When they reached the border, he turned to his young charge and asked her that question again. “Who lives across there?” he wanted to check her knowledge. After she answered, he led her to the border for a bit of a border-marking lesson. “Like this.” he demonstrated, had her practice, then led Leopardpaw back up the hill and towards home.

When they reached camp, he smiled at her. ”good job! Go and rest, get some food, and I’ll see you tomorrow for some hunting fun!”

Leopardpaw followed Crowbreeze to Twilight Falls.
She definitely admired the waterfall once she saw it.
"Wow!" She said aloud.
Crowbreeze mentioned not taking her up there yet, because she would slip.
Well, she personally bets she wouldn't, but she kept that to herself.

They soon entered a new area.
She'd never seen a squirrel before, but she noticed a funny, tree-like scent that smelt kinda like prey.
"This is..." Doesn't ThunderClan climb trees? "ThunderClan?"
She was proud of herself once she learned she was right.

Next was 'Sedgewater'. Well, there was only one clan left, and the 'water' in the name also gave it away.
"RiverClan!"
'But they aren't home right now.' She joked to herself.

She mimicked Crowbreeze when he showed her how to mark the border.
Easy enough.

Leopardpaw then followed her mentor back home.
Her eyes sparkled at the praise, before she nodded and went off to do her own thing in camp.
