Owlthroat felt himself almost blush at Tuftedtusk’s whispered words. Forget about kits knocking him over, never mind that. The tom made a mental note to find him a trinket or a present sometime soon.
The kits seemed to have quietened down a little, he couldn’t tell whether they’d given up entirely or were just amping themselves up for their final blows. A grimace crossed his blackened lips.
