Sneezepaw's curiosity was definitely piqued. She hadn't exactly expecting her evening to be like this, but it was probably one of the best surprises she'd ever had. The sky looked just like her daydreams, colors blurred together and in harmony. Maybe those four colors represented how RiverClan would fit back after their punishment? She hoped that's what it meant. She was no medicine cat, she couldn't see prophecies, she couldn't speak with StarClan, but she liked to see symbolism in small thing. Like how Adderstrike was as easy to predict as a snakes first lunge. And Sneezepaw, was well... though she'd never admit it, her mother had named her it because she couldn't stop sneezing as a kitten. Feathers and her mothers velvet-like fur made her nose tickle. She likes to think of more as she has hiccups along the way. Just like everyone else!

"Guess I'm following you,"

She said in an exaggerated way, all joking of course. When Adderstrike grinned, she couldn't help but grin as well. Being around her reminded her of an excitable apprentice, so it didn't feel too awkward. Though she herself wasn't very excitable. Was she? Oh! She couldn't tell. Did it matter all that much? Sneezepaw followed the silly warrior out further, trusting wherever they were going, Adderstrike knew the way.

"Of course!~ Soon enough the entire clan will be following me!" Adderstrike cheered before giggling a little bit. It wasn't that she didn't believe this but it just was hard to be super serious around Sneezepaw. The young shecat was yet to realize what she felt around this other cat, but her head was far behind her heart in these matters it seemed. So clueless for now, the warrior lead the near to be warrior on a little adventure. In her heart of hearts, Adderstrike would love if this lovely greenleaf day lasted forever, just with her and Sneezepaw till all the fun was drank up... Yet time marched on anyways, the sun chased the moon and she had to get a move on.

Eventually Adderstrike took a moment to stop and looked over her shoulder with a smile. "We are here!" She said swaying her tail happily. The spot that Adderstrike had found was a meadow filled with colorful, yet not herb-like, flowers around. There was a depression in the ground where seasonal rain collected to make a small pond. It seemed like greenleaf was close to killing this pond as if the heat of the season hunted water. Nevertheless some frog stuck around, seemingly undisturbed by Adderstrike's distance talking, and dragonflies zipped around the air in erratic, yet precise patterns. The intent of its movements was something only the bug could understand truly. With that being said, Adderstrike stopped enjoying the scene and looked back to Sneezepaw with a smile and a nervous snicker. Something always made her want to snicker when she looked at the other shecat's face. "Do you like frogs? I like their unique texture." She whispered to Sneezepaw before she slowly took a crouching position while she held herself from licking her chops.

The flood of colors made Sneezepaw stop for a moment, soaking in all of the warmth and cold. It was nothing she'd ever seen before. Green grass, a small pond, several flowers sprouting around like they couldn't care less if something trampled them. Well, not that they could care less, but as if they would be unbothered. Green stems perking back up as soon as something fell upon it. A small buzz made her jump, the flash of black and yellow of a bee passing by to collect pollen from one of the flowers. Everything felt... different. She felt at ease, no training to worry about, nothing to worry about. It's as if she could physically feel the stress leaving her body, whisking into the light-blue sky above. Never to be seen again!

Her small-minded thoughts were interrupted by a series of chuckles into a snicker, perking as Adderstrike whispered something about frogs into her ear.

"Well, they're awfully slimy, but they're okay-looking creatures from there."

Sneezepaw laughed a bit herself, tone jokingly not acknowledging the fact she'd never seen a frog in her life. Well, until now that is. She watched in awe as its throat expanded into a pouch-like thing, then retracted. A subtle crrrrokkkkk followed after such thoat-expansion. She was surprised at the least. What kind of animal could make that kind of sound? Well certainly one named a "frog"!

She tumbled onto her back, letting the warm green grass engulf her. It was nice, being careless for once. Not in the kind of reckless rule-breaking kind of way, but in the carefree break kinda way. Sneezepaw shut her eyes, soaking in the summer suns heat. It wasn't unbearably hot today, it wasn't actually half bad. When the wind kicked up and the breeze ruffled her fur, she felt at ease. Beside Adderstrike she had no fear. She rather enjoyed spending time with the silly-warrior no matter what the circumstance. Even an awkward shared conversation at a meeting wasn't terrible. Something about Adderstrike, ever since Sneezepaw had first really met her, made her feel so happy. Like stress was lifted into the clouds above, escaping her mind never to enter again. Sometimes she forgot what it felt like to be so wrapped up in apprentice duties. And that was a nice feeling to have, she thought.

"They will look even better up close..." Adderstrike smirked. Truth be told she had never hunted a frog before but this was a good time to get started, right? The warrior stalked forwards to what looked like a bullfrog. It was pretty loud. Why would such a small creature be this loud all the time, there must be something to all this ribbiting. Maybe this was for another time investigation as the warrior was getting pretty hungry after all the adventuring around. So once she thought she was close enough, Adderstrike jumped after the frog... For it to do a mighty leap away from her. She... Wasn't expecting it to leap that far but it went into the small pond. She tilted her head slightly as she studied the murky water. This Riverclanner was used to the clear rivers of her home but she watched how the mud was moving around and where it might go before.... STRIKE!

The warrior got a mighty amount of mud in her mouth, but also a very angry bullfrog that was screaming at her. Quickly she killed the frog, before smiling at Sneezepaw. "I caught us our meal!" She placed the frog further away from the pond so the animals would slowly come back. "Though its ok if you want to catch something else.~" She said as she moved to her spot.

Okay, Sneezepaw calm down. Though when she looked back up at Adderstrike her whole face turned a sickly kind of red, the kind that was easy to see against her pale-pelt. She freaked, ducking her head as she thought of a response. Was this flirting? Did Sneeze even know what that was? No, not really, but whatever it was she didn't want Adder to know how strong her reaction was.

"Ahah, I don't think one slimy frog'll hurt me."

She offered in a quiet, held back voice, feeling her throat strain. Okay. Maybe she was a nervous wreck, but what cat wouldn't be in this situation? And possibly because the thought of eating that thing made her whole spine tingle. In that kind chilled, what am I about to do, way. That frog certainly wouldn't hurt her, but it would ruin her appetite. Whatever! She could deal with that. Plus, Adderstrike had caught it, it would be rude of Sneezepaw to decline.

"uhh, yeah, bon appetit?"

She gulped before taking a big deep breath. It wasn't going to be as bad as she thought.

Or maybe even worse.
