With everything on the ground handled, it was time to take care of the rest.

Bumblestar pulled herself up the trunk, her eyes on the prize: an owl-sized hollow in the higher up branches. She hooked her claws around the rim and hauled herself inside.

She was met with the sight of three unmatched eggs and two rather freaky looking owl babies. Their tried to burrow their fuzzy bodies deeper into the nest before she could see them, though by that point it was already two late.

Crack, crack, crack! The eggs were shoved out of the opening and shattered as soon as they hit the ground, yolk splattering the pelts of unlucky standbys. Second were the younglings, their necks broken by a swift paw and their abhorrent screeching silenced. Then came the nest itself, shredded into scraps and chucked out of the hollow.

Bumblestar descend with the bodies in tow. She dropped them by the roots so she could survey the damage. One owl down, hopefully no more to come. "How's everyone holding up?"

Nightwhisper has scratches along his flank, one bleeding one along his side as he'd been told to go back to Bumblestar, he'd gotten defensive as the bird got to close to his leader, leaping at it, while he delt damage he also got harmed himself, he didn't care if he was scolded for it, he'd rather an alive leader that he protected than a dead one he left to fend for herself. Not that she couldn't. Nightwhisper had watched his leader, his eyes coolly watching as the little birds died one by one at a flick of his leaders paw.

Wolfhive shook his head as Orangeblossom finished off the owl, mutilating and beheading it in the process. "Don't tear it up too badly, we can feed it to the Clan 'n it's easier to transport if it's in one piece." It was dead, damaging it further was just unnecessary.

He was, thankfully, out of yolk range as Bumba dropped down from the tree. "No one's dead." It was hard to tell who all got injured, 'specially when one of his eyes were closed.

Then, quieter to his ma - "... is my eye okay?" It still hurt like hell, and when he blinked it open there was still a red haze - things were blurry. From Bumblestar's perspective though, the eye itself was fine. The blood welled into it from a gash between his nose and eye, and once the bleeding slowed it would be less of an issue.
