Milkpaw's fur bristled in horror as he heard his name being called out along with that of his father. He eyed him distrustfully without blinking, holding the distance as the other members made their way to him to get ready and leave. Muscles tense, he wouldn't move. Not until Firepaw was there as well, helping him control himself and giving him some comfort.

He hates me.

He couldn't ignore the cold stares that Ashclaw threw him from a distance, and he could clearly see that the tom wasn't either happy with Fallownose's choice. Claws sliding out unconsciously, in a moment all of Blackscar's old lessons came up in his mind all at once; "Be strong. Prove yourself. Show THEM all!"

He gritted his teeth and closed his eyes, trying to block out the furious voice in his head.
