There was a bit of lingering once everyone had gathered at the meeting spot; it made Slatestripe's skin crawl just a bit. The air felt thick, like there were words that could be spoken, but weren't. He didn't want to charge ahead and go back to camp without Mistyshard's direction, but at the same time continuing to stand here wasn't desirable either.
His voice muffled by dandelion, he asked, "Should we head back?"
