She heard her name called. An herb patrol? Well, that was a change. Her patrolmates were Scalescar, whom she had never heard of in her life until now, and Crowtooth. A very well-known name and a right old pain in the tail. The recent argument at the last meeting had left her annoyed at the cats involved, but she was smarter than to let petty disputes affect her performance.

So as she stalked over, long legs covering the ground in measured increments, she paused in front of Crowtooth and narrowed her gaze to reflect the displeasure of being put on the same patrol. She respected the older tom, but his voice had only shut hers down. For that, she found she had nothing to say to him. So she turned her head away as she sat down to wait, watching the clearing for..whoever this Scalescar was.
