Darkfall - @Dark | Mistlewhisker - @Mica | Petalrot - @Neptune. | Moonmeadow - @Dolomedes
She should have brought more warriors. Lesson learned. Dawnstar hadn't thought the minks would have multiplied so quickly no taken up more territory so fast. She wasn't as familiar with minks as she would have liked. Dawnstar cursed and spat as her claws raked across one of the mink's faces, she crushed another under her paw, breaking small bones, like she would a bug. Her amber eyes darted to and fro ensuring her clanmates were still on their paws.

She briefly made out Mistlewhisker, alive and fighting, before a mink came at her, rearing up on its hind legs and attacking Dawnstar's face. She managed to avoid damage to her eyes, but one of her ears took the brunt of the attack as small claws cut through like paper. She caught the mink by its neck with her fangs snapped its throat, and tossed it to the ground in time to whip around and face off with another mink.

She found Darkfall making his way towards Moonmeadow, or he would have if he hadn't lost his balance. So much for her warning. She couldn't even be pissed with him over this! Dawnstar raised a forepaw, fueled by her usual rage, her claws ripped through the soft underbelly of one of the minks coming at her face again. Pain exploded in her hind leg, but she ignored that in favor of moving closer to Darkfall.

She was not keen on losing any of her warriors and especially her enforcers, even one as troublesome as Darkfall. "Petalrot, stick with Mistlewhisker." Dawnstar yowled out as she saw bug squaring off with a younger mink. It was one less thing for her to worry about if those two knew to stay close to each other. She darted towards Darkfall, although, was briefly sidetracked.

The Queen of Shadow let out a loud caterwaul as a mink sprang and twisted in the air, landed heavily on her back, and began to drag its claws between her shoulder blades. She twisted around barely able to catch the mink by its tail and dragged it off her back. Unfortunately, she left one side completely exposed, she felt fangs digging into the healing wound on her neck. She had to take a moment to rip that one off her neck, and then there were the ones on her legs. How the hell did she get them out of here?!

Leechscar felt this uncomfortable tingle crawl up his spine as led his patrol out of the prairie to the moorlands, through the Skyglade, and towards the Whispering Wetlands. The WindClan warrior had long ago gotten over the blood trauma associated with this border, but sometimes it still had his nerves standing on edge. It most likely had to do with how dark and murky the opposing territory was. Leechscar always felt like he had great eyesight for a WindClan warrior, able to spot rabbits and birds fox-lengths away, but when it came to ShadowClan's territory he could barely make out the trees' tail lengths away.

He'd never understand how ShadowClan could live in such a depressing territory. Leechscar kept his patrol several tail lengths from the border, worried about an ambush. He didn't care how much they preached allies, Leechscar would never fully trust the toads. He didn't dare sit, the swamp lands made the moorland wetter than he'd like. He figured his unease could also be the nasty stink in the air. He wasn't familar with the smell, but considering that minks had been scent in the area, he supposed that was the stink. It smelled slightly worse than ShadowClan gross odor.

He looked over to the other three, Batglare, Bravebird, and Dapplebreeze, parting his maw to see if they had any idea how long they should wait here. Before a word left his muzzle, he heard a loud yowl followed by shrill hisses and caterwauls. Leechscar's hackles rose in surprise as soon as he heard the noise. His muscles tensed and his head swerved ready for a fight. It took him a moment to notice that the cries were coming across the border not on WindClan's side.

The large warrior remained on guard while he glared into the dense shadows trying to make out the sound. "We should ignore that, right?" He asked the older warriors, looking for advice. "Twilightstar said we should not go over the border." It sounded like whoever was in some trouble. Leechscar shifted the weight between his forepaw and scowled. Leechscar didn't care about some toad lives, but Twilightstar was set on their alliance so does that mean they should help or not?
