Her paws carried her as swiftly as they could. She had waited to be here again, waited to see him again. Her heart felt like it was threatening to escape from her chest as her small ginger tabby frame hopped through the grasses of the starlit meadow. She had started in her dream this time, but after a moment of meditation, she had felt that familiar pull, that thread of life that drew her to the beach they had parted ways from.

She wasn't sure when her dream crossed over to his, but the beach was familiar, and she sat down on the shoreline to wait for her friend. She hoped he wouldn't be long...
His story, she wanted to hear it, she wanted to see him release the feelings inside through his words and eyes. Not to experience his pain for her pleasure, but to feel it for herself, so she could understand it.

But her eyes kept flickering nervously to the shadows at the edges of her vision. Would...she appear again? She doubted it, but Sweetsong couldn't help but feel on edge while she waited.
