Mousekit's little black paws padded over towards Branchkit. "Hi," he mewed, sitting down next to him. "What's Rainpaw talking about? ...I couldn't hear him, eheh."

As Branchkit looked up at Rainpaw continuously from the edge of the group of excited kits and apprentices, another tom walked up to him from behind, Mousekit.
"Hi," He greeted back, glancing at the kit.
"Something about decorating Birdsnow's den." He shrugged and glanced at the other kits.
"But they're gathering a lotta cats." Won't it ever be too much? It's not like the Leader's Den is so big right? Plus the younger or rebellious kits may cause trouble too.
Anyhow-
"How are you?" Branchkit then asked out of nowhere. He stayed completely still, the two of them, and continued to wait for the event to start. It's, after all, at least better than the usual boredom he had to endure when he was not playing or sparring with Mousekit.
"It's a good day today."
