Default Re: WindClan Breezerock

Deadpaw hadn't been paying particularly close attention to the proceedings, more than content to worry a few of the bugs unfortunate enough to pass her paws. One, two, then a third met their end beneath her clublike paw, becoming pulp in an instant. Twilightstar's mention of Breezefeather caught her attention, she still missed the tom, despite her squishing of all feelings when they appeared. He had been the closest she'd gotten to an actual family, if that meant one that didn't despise you and wish you were gone. Speaking of which, for some reason Wolffang and (gag)Rosebriar were up by the Breezerock. What had they done now?

And then someone, who she quickly recognized as Toadpaw, he had been there when the apprentice den got collapsed, by his brother if she recalled correctly, was yelling. Yelling at her siblings, which she could generally support, as long as it wasn't in the middle of a meeting. Which this was. Still, she muttered a bit pointlessly Woo. Go Toadpaw. before actually hearing what he said. She regretted her small cheer, he was clearly daft as a fox if he had just learned Wolffang didn't like cats with deformities. Surely he couldn't be THAT dumb! Or had her siblings done something to spark, once again, this debate? She didn't particularly know.

Beginning to realize she had missed something important, Deadpaw listened intently to her brother's rebuke, surprised to hear the word deputy. Wait. Was he really deputy? Was Twilightstar really that boneheaded? She hadn't imagined it possible for any cat to not notice her siblings general nastiness, but perhaps something more than the eye she had lost had gone wrong with Twilightstar. Not that she cared how the leader looked. It just made seeing the worst cats in the clan harder she supposed, it was the only explanation she could come up with for how the relatively sensible leader had managed to appoint her brother as deputy.

She could probably do a whole lot of damage if she stood up and called her brother, well, her brother. After all, that would make them horrid hypocrites if they tried to be nice to her, or horrid family members if they yelled at her, but that would take a lot of energy she didn't particularly wish to expend right now. Besides, Rosebriar lying was completely on the table. Who's to say she wouldn't just call her a liar and then privately push her off a cliff? Not that Deadpaw would fall off the cliff of course, at least not without taking Rosebriar with her. Dying would make her sister FAR to happy.

Twilightstar finally got involved, restoring a bit of the young molly's faith in their leader with her telling off of Wolffang and Rosebriar, and Deadpaw smiled a bit devilishly. Hmm, this raised interesting possibilities. It seemed the leader was already considering a demotion, and what was this? an EXILE? This was almost too good to be true! Except that it required Wolffang becoming deputy first. But this presented SO many delightful opportunities to be rid of her sister! While she normally despised socializing, a mutual partnership seemed a possibility. Only until she got rid of the sister of course. And then, just to make a bit of trouble, she called Congradulations Wolffang! I'm sure you'll do a great job making everyone miserable! before scampering away, not waiting to see what the response to that would be. @TheNyanCatMinecart
