Splashfury scavenged the territory to land her eyes on red flowers with black centers in the petal (Poppy with seeds). They were interesting flowers she had sometimes seen some of the times when she was an apprentice trying to find things to decorate the dens. Splashfury plucked 4 of them with the stems not knowing if they needed the stem or not. She wasn't going to accidentally pluck them off if the medicine cats actually need the stems for healing or something. When she was finished, she waited patiently for the apprentices to finish.

Podpaw followed Splashfury’s lead, plucking up a leafy green plant with tiny white flowers with a rather nice smell. “I wonder if these plants will help heal someone! What if they aren’t herbs?” the fluffy tomcat asked, picking up a second plant that looked like the first. He then picked up two stalks of a plant with blue flowers.
