Twilightstar sat down and just observed him as he got his head together. The tension in her body as she waited for something to happen drained away with each passing wave of her tail. A small smile fixed itself onto her lips as soon as he got up and ran over, he was still slow, but he was getting.
"Well, what are you expecting?" She snorted rolling her eyes at the tom. "I could literally go on and on about what you're doing wrong, but we'd be here forever." She should work on his speed since that factored into fighting. Although if Twilightstar could get him to learn something other then 'the Slap' she'd earn herself a gold star. Twilightstar stood up and padded a tail length away from him, beckoning him to stand and face her.
"I'm going to sideswipe at you, like your slap but from the side, I want you to roll over as fast as you can, get back onto your paws, but in a crouch." It might be awkward at first but the more he practiced the more natural it would become. "Ready?" She asked and then lashed out at his head with a forepaw.
@Arie

Ack! He had been doing poorly. A small disappointed frown made its way onto his face as Twiglight listed the fact that he'd done really badly... but she had snorted! that hadn't escaped him. Did she maybe find it funny? Maybe? Hopefully? That would soothe the sting wouldn't it. Watching as Twiglight stood up and quickly standing him up himself Stagpaw found himself in a situation where he didn't know what to expect. Usually Twiggy would chuck a rock at him... but she didn't have any rocks nearby - that itself was a blessing in disguise -and he didn't know what would happen. At least she explained it. Meanwhile he'd been watching her stance and had tried his best to replicate it although realizing he would be somewhat... unbalanced. It was a bit harder considering the fact that he would have to balance on three legs instead of four. Four legs seemed easier but sadly he was a cripple and there would be no changing that. But he was a proud cripple! Listening as Twiglight explained what she would do he nodded, "So its like a side slap and you gotta... crash and," his train of speaking was interrupted as Twiglight did... exactly what she told him she would do. He wasn't ready! But nevertheless crashing into the ground, he managed to avoid her move. Crashing into the ground was his specialty! but he had to roll, so roll he did and he got up on his paws. "I DID IT! I ACTUALLY DID IT!" he couldn't help but squeak. Not like his crouch was good by any means but the fact that he'd done it brightened his day. Looking up at Twiglight with happy eyes, "What are we doing next?"
